Hey, guys, guess what RPG Maker Earthbound fangame is going to be released this Halloween?COGNITIVE DISSONANCE!
The game look like it'll be fun, so I went ahead and sprited the 5 main characters in the style of Mother 4. From left to right, these characters areΒ Alinivar, Colonel Saturn, Larice, Zarbol, and Niiue. I really wanted to do a full 8-directional spin for all of these guys, but due to time constraints I only finished Alinivar's. Later, I might upload the rest of them.

Hey, and don't worry! It won't be that hard! In a week or so, I'll be releasing that Earthbound Zero hack that's been keeping me so busy lately. I've been making it for people who want to get into the series, since the first game had a lot of issues (like evil bears). And if you end up playing that, you should play CogDis afterwards. Chronologically, it's supposed to take place between the 1st and 2nd games.

Sounds great! Pretty much the whole internet has been abuzz with the new Smash Bros, and Mewtwo's inclusion as DLC. The Disgaea series also looks like a strategy series you'd really be into...it always had nice sprites, too.

Honestly I do like Disgaea quite a bit, but I've never played past the first game or even gotten more than one ending.
I mentioned Disgaea specifically to see if you said anything about the sprites.
The new smash bros. is a lot of fun but the controls on 3ds take some getting used to. they feel kind of clunky. My copy is currently running a vs. match at the max time allowable without anyone playing it because one of the rewards needs you to play smash mode for a total of ten hours.
