Description
So far this has got to be I suppose what is the closest thing I have to a masterpiece. It took me three months and god knows how many hours to do. It has landscapes, flora and fauna from each state of Australia and was for an art competition held annually at the Adelaide Museum. They did not accept it as an entry.

Wow, incredible! I did something similar to this years back, did you used a combination of a lot of photos for refrences?

Thankyou very much. Yes I used heaps of photos for the references. I had to look through heaps of different ones for each state and the trees and waterfalls along with someof the other flowers and animals were done from my own photographs.

Ahhh I thought so, I had to do something very similar before, but w/ colored pencils to make it look like a photograph, I can def. understand how long this may of taken just from how long that had taken myself lol. I really appreciate things such as these

Yeah it's painstaking work! And of course it's so much harder than digital painting...once you muck up you're pretty much stuck with it!
