Butterflies painted in PS from an image off the internet. They are Japanese butterflies (Parnassius-hoenei)
Model is my own purchased stock. I don't know if she is Japanese or not but she had the exact expression and look that I wanted for this piece.

This is beautiful... subtle .. evocative .. haunting .... reccently saw in animal cards butterflies represent accepting change , moving on !
