Happy Halloween! I decided to dress Aardrin up as Gourry Gabriev and Rysta as Lina Inverse

Why?

Would you believe that The Slayers was one of my inspirations for Wand and Sword originally?

There's actually very little of that origin left . . . other than the size difference between Aardrin and Rysta, the fact that Rysta is a sorceress with a temper, that Aardrin knows how to use a sword and is protective of Rysta, and the fact that the two of them can really put the food away like Gourry and Lina

Aardrin is FAR smarter than Gourry. No question there

Why is Aardrin looking off to the side? In my head Calaen is over there laughing his ass off at that ridiculous shoulder armor and how Aardrin has a hard enough time getting through doors due to his height, now he has to shuffle through knees bent and sideways with those on

Aardrin is pondering whether or not he'd be able to heal any damage the Sword of Light could do to Prince Calaen Rysta, in the meantime, is oblivious and really enjoying her costume, other than the fact that the earrings are REALLY heavy
