I don't normally do Anger first, but it seemed to be the one that called to me this time
Alternate title - Lone Starr : Well, what have we got here? Will you look at her? Those flashing eyes, those flushed cheeks, those trembling lips. You know something Princess? You are *ugly* when you're angry.
's Task 8 - Anger: What triggers your OC's temper? Draw them getting angry.
Ioana has that kind of anger that's a slow buildup to an explosion. You've heard of ugly crying? This is ugly anger 
The first trigger here is being questioned about her piloting. She doesn't take kindly to that unless the person in question is a better pilot than her and she KNOWS it. It's especially bad if she'd dodging attacks at the same time.
Second trigger . . . well . . . the vent pretty much says it. Jovian has dragged her unwilling into a very unpleasant situation where the possibility of getting killed or arrested is very high. She's a careful person and really hates Jovian's recklessness and is letting her displeasure known. He's not sure how to react, no one has yelled at him like this.

After seeing her fear. I can imagine how angry she is over here right now. Especially after Joivan even starts to complain about the way she is operating the ship.Β

I know everyone else is saying it, but seriously! Great job on her expressions! As much as I love the last panel with her full on rage face, I really like the middle one. You can feel the thousand yard stare with it before she unleashes her fury.

She usually removes herself from the situation first, then reads or does something calming like swimming or even something strenuous, it depends on where she is and what's available.

I love the differentiation of levels in this! Irritation anger and fury are absolutely two different sorts of anger and I love how you've shown them both here! I can absolutely relate to the piloting irritation, but I can imagine that after Jovian has dragged her into such a.... precarious "adventure" she'd be ready to rip his throat out!

Heh. Actually, he does need her because The Lady has made it clear that Ioana is the pilot she wants and Jovian doesn't have any other options but to try and keep Ioana around for his ship

Rage, Ioana, he deserved it. The fact she usually is a cool-headed, careful person only adds to the power of her outburst, I think - when you get Ioana to blow up on you, you really brought it on yourself. :') Anger is not meant to look pretty, anger is meant to change a situation or circumstance - and I hope it may bring about some change to Jovian's reckless behavior, too. He's been stepping on her toes for too long by this point, and Ioana is absolutely justified to blow up on him like she does. I only admire her patience and as does Va. That being said, the change in her expressions in two panels only is amazingly well-done: you can just see her ire rise until she gets the chance to open her mouth to give Jovian a piece of her mind. A very reasonable one at that, even if it is laced in vitriol.

As for Jovian, he learns, with a lot of prodding from The Lady, how he should behave.
Jovian is just lucky that Ioana isn't prone to be physically violent or he would probably have been sporting a black eye in addition to the verbal tirade

Wow, I can totally understand why she would be angry, I'm not surprised her anger is with Jovian! xD It's interesting to see Ioana get angry, as she seems so calm, but it seems like she's the type to bottle up her anger, until it explodes, as shown here. Fantastic job!Β

She knows how to stay fairly calm under stressful conditions, but when those are over she will let loose if something pissed her off about it

I think I should have made it so you could see up her nostrils now that I'm looking at it farther away, but it was a good attempt. I was very pleased with that second panel, you can already see she's unimpressed and ready to let him know exactly how she feels.

Wow, seeing her angry surprised me. She's like a ticking time bomb as she's the one who builds up her anger and then she releases it. Love her expression as well. ^v^b

She's normally better at keeping it under control. Jovian is one of the few people who can get her riled up since he also stresses her out. Her mother and a few of her siblings can also manage to get this reaction out of her. Thank you!
