On my husband's birthday we went to the California Automobile Museum in Sacramento [link] I totally recommend it if you have an interest in cars and want to see a really diverse collection in one place. Also . . . the docents REALLY know their stuff and will answer any and ALL questions with enthusiasm and amazing knowledge . . . Dan was only able to stump them once, asking when electric lights became standard on gas powered cars

One thing I learned was how AWESOME Model T's were . . . you could buy kits from the Sears Catalog to convert the darn things into pretty much ANYTHING . . . from farm equipment, to fruit trucks, to SNOWMOBILES! How cool is that!? It was like a life sized damn erector set! Have it plow your field during the week, then take it to town to shop on the weekend . . . that's just too freaking fantastic.
