Task 7 for Round 16 , Show your character facing their greatest fear

Rysta wouldn't want anyone to know it, but she does have a few fears. Normally she hides them with annoyance and bluster if they're pointed out, and if she's really scared it can cause an angry lashing out if whatever is scaring her is a threat.

The first panel is her first main fear, being abandoned and alone. This obviously comes from the death of her parents and of Tiernan and she becomes afraid that she'll lose Aardrin as well when he falls in love with Oriane and again when he changes back to human. She's even convinced that Calaen will abandon her once he becomes king and doesn't need her. But all of this only comes up when she is alone and lets her mind start to wander that direction. When she's afraid she curls up on herself.

The second panel is her fear of enclosed spaces. This is from an accident when she was a child, she crawled into a hole under the family barn and got trapped. Full story under this picture, which is the aftermath -

The location is Iolanthe's cave hideout, and Rysta hates the fact that there's so much rock above her with such low ceilings. She does her best to deal with it but she is not comfortable. She has the same reaction in the narrow hallways of The Palace at Doumerlas and in the AU when she had to take an elevator (she really hated the elevator )

The last panel is something that happens that ends up making her terrified of the dark. Remember Shok'Artel and his Spukarie? Well, the Spukarie attacks her, surrounding her with his darkness. She's saved by Eriantielle, but the experience leaves Rysta so traumatized that Eriantielle takes control. Rysta's consciousness stays in this state for quite a long time and it takes both Calaen and Ragnall to help her out of it. Afterwards she is so sensitive to the trace of the Spukarie that she can identify it by smell alone.
