Description

for those curious how i always edit bases
i always just use a mouse, ms paint and finalise in gimp
simple, clean, effective

the second part for this will be out soon

you're not looking to do something wild and attention grabby
you're editing the lines to make it look like the original artist's
combined with the aesthetic colouring and markings
and the finished product should look utterly appealing

when i create designs i follow rules,
originality, visually appealing and random
the rule of random is that no design is ever the same
something's always different
random addons and markings are your best friends
dont think about specifics and just wing it,
when you like what you see, tidy it up so that it's realistic and aesthetic enough for sale
markings and addons have to be relatively believable
aint gunna find yellow lightning stripes on a blue lion in the real world

base is by
designed and edited by me
you may use this guide as a reference,
but you have no permission to trace/alter/edit or reupload this image

Thanks for the tips.
If you don't mind me asking, do you make the the edits in another color before finalizing them or do you just leave them black throughout the process?
