This was my entry for the #BlacktotheFuture #BlackinAstro competition on Twitter.twitter.com/BlackInAstro/statu…
This is a mixed media work (colored pencils, watercolor and acrylics) on watercolor, A4 paper. Took me around 15 hours (mostly spent on the sky). Influences: Contact (the beach scene from Carl Sagan's novel and movie), Lora Zombie, Jennifer Thomas, Matt Dixon (MattDixon ), and Rob Rey.
