First page of the comic adaptation of *Spyke1985 's alternate universe Mass Effect fanfiction!
Go read the rest of Chapter 1 here! [link] I was asked by the wonderful to collaborate with her and I just had to say yes!
It's another Shekarian fan fic (because Shekarian is teh ) featuring the very unique Taren Shepard 
Do keep in mind that this is in an alternate universe so things won't follow the original story exactly. Which keeps it fresh and interesting in my opinion!
I tried something different with my comic style this time around. I think I might incorporate more of this into And So They Fall (which will still be done I assure you!!)

Although a vampire Shepard would be interesting... I'm not fond of what the whole vampire craze has done to them, but they're still one of my favorite creatures.

I read up to the point of the story of what Taren actually is. But yeah, I like The Lost Boys, and The Doors song, People Are Strange is used a lot in that film. One of Joel Schumacher's greatest films. Right up there with Falling Down, and Phone Booth. (The other Kiefer Sutherland movie he did with Scumacher.)

I'm not sure about the other two. I thought the original was fine being a stand alone film. Joel Schumacher really hit it out of the park with the original Lost Boys, as being the ultimate teen fantasy of doing what you want, when you want, and never growing old. Just like the Lost Boys from Peter Pan. I have no idea what the other two are like, but I don't think you can top Kiefer Sutherland as a villan. Especially in Phone Booth where Kiefer is a voice on a pay phone that torments Colin Farrell. That and I got a chuckle out of this bit. [link]

Ah... I love this story and having a comic to go with it is beyond awesome. That last panel too man... those teeth both excite and scare me. Great drawings too BTW of Garrus and Taren, but that should be obvious your art is always great.

The funny thing was, when I was reading the story I was thinking about how it could be adapted to a comic or at the very least how certain scenes could be drawn! I was pretty happy when Spyke asked me if I'd draw it for her
And I freaking love Taren's teeth and her overall renegade-ness!!
I also plan to keep going on my own ME comic, so these pages might come a bit slowly, especially with school starting for me tomorrow.
