First page of the comic adaptation of *Spyke1985 's alternate universe Mass Effect fanfiction!
Go read the rest of Chapter 1 here! [link] I was asked by the wonderful to collaborate with her and I just had to say yes!
It's another Shekarian fan fic (because Shekarian is teh ) featuring the very unique Taren Shepard 
Do keep in mind that this is in an alternate universe so things won't follow the original story exactly. Which keeps it fresh and interesting in my opinion!
I tried something different with my comic style this time around. I think I might incorporate more of this into And So They Fall (which will still be done I assure you!!)

I don't like that look in her eyes. Or at lest I wouldn't if I could actually SEE them.

It bothered me to not draw her eyes, but when I had them in, it ruined the effect. Sometimes they just need to be sacrificed
And Taren is pretty renegade, which is going to be a hell of a lot of fun!

I will say it definitely worked out though. I kinda agree that if the eyes were put in, it may ruin the effect.

Unfortunately it did. I should have put a shadow there, but despite telling myself a thousand times I kept forgetting. I blame the medication I was put on after I had my wisdom teeth removed earlier this week >.>

Would a shadow with a pair of white dots peering through them have been what you had in mind?
As for the wisdom teeth thing, take it from a guy who knows, flushing out the vacant holes in the back of your jaw is a two-person job.

The only other "pointer" I can think of at the moment is not to let the panels confine you. I'm not 100% sure where that came from, but if someone is pointing in one panel, I'd think it would be alright to have their finger going out-of-panel. You know, to add a bit of dimension to it. Also, so you aren't confined to a single space.

I was looking back at a couple of older pages of my other comic and I had done that, but stopped for some reason! It was certainly much more interesting that way, in many respects!
