Lately I was a little bit frustrated with my skills and especially my time-consuming technique doing digital art. Not saying that I lost the passion in digital painting. Quite the opposite, I eagerly want to get better, but just ended up being impatient with myself. Not cool at all I know. *laughing*That's why I took little break from my computer and worked more traditional this year. Some of my sharp watchers may have noticed the lack of outrageous digital pieces. ;'>
But right, right. Now I'm back again with my tablet, lots of power, motivation and tons of patience. <3 XD My technique is still utterly slow and unrefined. But I'm working on that. My pace though. |P And another reason why my break is over now.
I missed going overboard, I missed the ease of mind when working hours, days, weeks even months on a picture. I missed the satisfaction after having finished it and the feeling of being proud of yourself. I missed it all. ♥
So yeah after stating that let's finally talk about the actual picture here. |D
It's a fanart of the manga Liar Game and some love for and its small fandom. I really enjoy reading this series and planned to do a picture with the protagonists Nao Kanzaki und Shinichi Akiyama for quite some time already. u//v//u Also I used my never-ending optimism to practice some things. Painting different kind of materials, textures of surfaces, folds in clothes, working with less eye popping colors and again semi realism. I wanted to let them look attractive keeping their distinctive features and fashion style. Well I think I did a good job here. XD *takes Akiyama home*
Altogether I got to learn quite a lot of new things and am really happy with the outcome. In many other ways this picture is step forward in my opinion. Also a welcome change in my gallery regarding the atmosphere. Let's see how things will go on the rest of the year. I'm looking forward to it and thank you guys for still sticking with super lame improving me. ♥ ;v;

Ein wirklich schönes Bild
Jedenfalls war ich sehr überrascht als ich nach langem mal wieder ein Bild mit eher wenig gesättigten Farben von dir gesehen - und es gefällt mir sehr gut (vor allem da ich normalerweise eh nicht so für sehr buntes bin). Ich selbst kenne den Manga zwar nicht und weiß nicht, ob das einen tieferen Sinn hat, aber ich finde diese farbliche Gestaltung so oder so toll. Und Masken sowieso, haha. Als ich das zum ersten mal gesehen habe, kam ich grade von meiner Studienfahrt nach Venedig wieder, deswegen passte das super...
Der Semirealismus ist hier auch sehr gut gelungen, nur von ihm stört mich irgendwie sein Ohr. Das sieht nicht ganz richtig aus, irgendwie zu viel glattes Fleisch xD
Ansonsten wie immer schöne Strukturen und tolles Bild!
Und lass dich nicht zu sehr von dem neuen Semester stressen

Wow du warst in Venedig? Sehr genial, wie wars? Einige lustige und skurrile Erlebnisse gehabt? *lacht* Irgendwie laufen solche Fahrten ja nicht immer 100%ig glatt aus meiner Erfahrung. XD

Und ja du hast vollkommen Recht, der Manga ist tatsächlich ein wenig ernster. So ein bisschen psychologisch angehaucht. Sehr interessant - kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen, wenn du auch gerne Death Note zum Beispiel gelesen hast. uvu

*lach* Also das ist doch ein gutes Vorhaben. Musst mir dann unbedingt erzählen, wie Liar Game dir gefallen hat. Ich bin da immer sehr neugierig, wenn ich Sachen weiterempfehl, weil ich mir immer voll Sorgen mach, dass die Leute das dann als voll die Zeitverschwendung ansehen. Ha ha. XD

Haha, das kenn ich, besonders schlimm, wenn es irgendeine Serie ist und man neben den Leuten sitzt, ich fang dann immer an mit "Das wird noch besser, das wird noch besser, warte noch!".
Im Moment bin ich allerdings noch an meiner LOST-Sucht dran, deswegen kann das noch etwas dauern

Lost hab ich bis jetzt noch nicht geguckt. Es gibt generell viel zu viele Serien, die ich gerne gucken würde aber diese Zeit, die nicht da ist. *lacht*
Aber erzähl, was gefällt dir dann an Lost so gut?

Lost hab ich mittlerweile fertig! Am Anfang schien es als steckte der ganz große Plan hinter, es wirkte alles so gut durchdacht. Und mich hat die Erzähltechnik fasziniert, weil in jeder Episode neben der eigentlichen Handlung auf der Insel (die sind da ja durch einen Flugzeugabsturz gelandet) durch Rückblenden ein Charakter näher beleuchtet. Es stecken einfach seeehr viele Details drin.
Die Auflösung wurde dem Anfang nicht ganz gerecht, aber insgesamt war es schon wirklich unterhaltsam und ich fand es sehr interessant zu sehen, wie die Figuren zu ihren einzelnen Verhaltensweisen kommen und wie subjektiv man eine Situation sehen kann. Klingt jetzt schwammig, haha.
Kennst du Sherlock? Das hat nur 6 Episoden à 90 Minuten bisher (daher auch mit Studenten vereinbar, erprobt an meiner Schwester...) und man möchte fürchterlich gerne mehr sehen ;D

Ah Lost klingt wirklich ausgesprochen gut, so wie du es erzählt. Kommt auf jeden Fall jetzt auf meine Liste von Serien, die ich unbedingt mir gerne ansehen möchte. uvu
Und zu Sherlock von BBC kenn ich. Also ich war echt baff, als ich die erste Folge gesehen hatte. So cineastisch aufgesetzt. Hätte ich mir auch als Kinoformat vorstellen könne. *v*
Mir hat es ausgesprochen gut gefallen. :'D
Daher finde ich es umso mehr schade, dass sie die dritte Staffel verschoben haben und wahrscheinlich diese erst 2014 rausbringen. ;_;

as for my trials... I'm satisfied with my results except for 3 subjects, which are all languages OTL my language.... T_T
and after this trials, it's time for making preparations for the next huuuge exam, my final exam. O:< after completing that time-consuming art, I still want to draw one more art before I go for the next 'war' lolwhut
