When deactivated the blade is moderately blunt. Being struck by the metal will only be capable of causing minor to somewhat serious cuts. In this form there is nothing really special about it rather than its design.

The sword becomes active however when Crona`s soul is channeled along the blade. The orange glow that resonates along the blade comes from "light energy"; Often referred to as an Aura. Aura covers the blade and hardens to create a sharp edge.This, in effect, means it is capable of doing more severe damage to opponents.

Crona hates to be anywhere without his trusted blade and will next to always flare up or sulk if forced to leave it behind. His dedication to carrying his weapon at all times has lead to him being taken aside by the surge protector numerous times.

Crona/Alastor`s ultimate attack is "Solar (Saber) Cyclone" In which Crona unleashes a furious spinning attack, Knocking opponents into the sky. [Pending]
