Backstory:
Ever since he was young, Haruki was Homeschooled out of his fathers fear that Harukis condition would cause him to be bullied and miss out on potential grades that would create the most reliable heir to his business. This was fine for a while but as Haruki grew up he started lacking in the ability to socialise and interact; only using what he had seen what he had seen on television to paint the social world. He became engrossed in the arts of literature and art, the style of manga in particular. In his down time, Haruki would watch the streets outside his home through the blinds he kept closed, jealous of the others his age he saw; gossiping,playing and enjoying themselves. However a fear of not being accepted prevented him from trying, social anxiety becoming wired in his brain. Eventually Haruki gave in and pleaded to go to a public school until his parents felt forced to agree; however he was given two conditions.Firstly he had to hide one of his eyes out of the lingering fear. He pondered on how to do this while still having to wear glasses; now well aware of his parents reasonings behind his private tutoring. He came up with the idea with wearing a contact lense when he came across a cosplay advertisement; to which his parents were sceptical but decided to give it a try. The second condition was that he had to prove he could work in a public environment by himself; set by his father who was more against the overall idea; His richer background supposed to be replicated by his son. Haruki quickly accepted; this condition leading to his appearance within the club on his first day there! Throughout his first day Haruki kept quiet, less inclined to interact and more so to do his studies. Later, arriving at the club ,high hopes of meeting people of similar interest, he was shocked to find all or most members to be female. His anxiety screamed for him to turn and run but determination bolted him to the ground until there was no turning back!

Path:
Being a non-dateable character Hatsuki follows a side-path that mainly occurs in the halls or in private within the club inbetween the story. Throughout his path he slowly opens to M/C explaining more of his condition and past and eventually being close enough to discuss his emotions towards the girl(s) and his inability to decide, asking the player to help. The second week he will appear without the contact, wearing a patch that the player can convince him to remove. From there the player can persuade him that he should not hide himself and complete the friendship between them. However as his story develops he subtly drops that he’s been finding ways to deal with his anxiety around the rest of the club in less than favourable ways.
In the path of Sayoris death; He will chase after the player and witness the scene with him; breaking down into a fit of shivering and madness, admitting to the corpse that he had been starting to crush on her. The player is forced to remove him. The next day he can be interacted with however appears pale and silent; with his eyes blacked out and covered by his hair. The player can try to snap him out in a long process but this is a difficult task.
He dies within the next few days.
If he is saved then he will appear more sicily with each characters disappearance or death.

Death:
Throughout his side story you learn that Haruki had been taking medication to overcome his anxiety and appear “strong and bold” to the rest of the club. After witnessing death or having so many of the people he began to care about disappear, Madness would convince him to take more than a safe amount of this medication to overcome it and seem strong for the M/C and remaining Monica despite his condition tearing at him, a dread that he is cursed; a real reason behind his imprisonment. Being the last to go M/C is unaware of Harukis death until it is brought up in the local paper, listed as a suicide by overdose.
His file is named: “No strength in the world could save you!”
