There was a heavy repetitive banging on the front door as Digi dashed to see who was there. He thought there was trouble so rushed almost falling down the stairs in his panic. As he opened the door one final fist came down hitting him in the chest. He waddled back in recoil as Sparkz jumped inside and closed the door behind her. She was laughing and couldn`t seem to stop for a few moments. In her hand was a stash of photos which confused Digi. Slowly she broke away from laughing and apologized for hitting him. She placed an arm on his shoulder as he lifted back up vertically. He smiled as he didn`t mind, It was an obvious accident! Digi lead his guest into the front room. “So Sparkz what on earth was that about?” He asked, sounding very confused. Sparkz went to reply but again was hit by unstable laughter, luckily not for as long as before. She replied stuffing the photos into Digi`s face ,”Just check these out!”. She returned to laughing, whatever it was it was hilarious. Digi stood on the spot looking at the photos of a young, chestnut haired boy. At first he didn`t recognize the boy in the picture but slowly it came to him, “Wait is this…. Gloyd!”. He was answered by Sparkz nodding as she laughed. Then, starting from a chuckle Digi broke out into laughter as he scrolled through the rest of the pictures. They were all of Gloyd at a young age… except one. As Digi pulled the picture on top of it away he slowed his laughter as his vision, blurred from tears of joy, became sharp once more. He stared at it for a few moments before nudging the electric themed racer. “Hey Sparkz… This one isn`t of Gloyd… It looks more like…”He nervously murmured. He felt his legs go weak as he stumbled backward onto his sofa. Sparkz loomed over him, she was still laughing slightly as Digi picked out the photo and gave it to her . She examined it carefully. The picture showed a young boy with crimson hair popping out of a cardboard box, the boy was defiantly not a sugar rush character as he had no nose, ears and instead of five stubby fingers he had sharp claws. Her eyes narrowed as she looked further at the kid, every so often looking up at Digi. “I don`t know how this is possible but wow “She growled, “This is a baby picture of you Digi!”. Digi made a look of disbelief as she handed back the picture. Digi now examined it further. Certainly this looked like him but it couldn`t… As he looked he saw a piece of vital evidence, Beside the child was a wool cap that had blackness matching the Childs clothe. Digi tugged his hat off as he compared it to the one in the picture and indeed they were one of the same. Digi still couldn`t believe any of this, How was a picture of him in Gloyd’s baby photo collection? He budged over, using small jumps while sitting, to move to the end of his sofa. He turned on the lamp hoping it would provide better light and that’s when Digi figured out why! On originally observing the picture, they had both noticed some dark patches behind the now discovered baby Digi that just didn`t match the background. But now under the new light a face could be made up. It was the baby Gloyd, sleeping behind the box! Digi was taken by surprise, Things had just become strange. Sparkz tried to look over Digi`s shoulder but he just kept moving in her sights way. Then unexpectedly he turned, “You said you got these from Cansy yeah?!” He swiftly asked. Sparkz was taken by Digi`s sudden emotional change but answered with no issues. “I never said who gave them to me.” She hissed, ”But yeah! Your mother is the one who….”. Digi had already got up and bolted for the door. Angry at Digi`s impatience to even let her finish a sentence, Sparkz ran after the Digital themed hero and was almost slammed into by the front door. As she go outside, Digi was busy doing some very quick checks on his kart, He didn`t stop when Sparkz was angrily shouting at him for being so ignorant! She asked where he was going. Digi replied as quickly as he had done his checks, “To Gloyds! You can tag if you want but im not waiting too long so you better get your butt in your kart now”. As he spoke his instructions he turned the ignition key. Sparkz growled again, what was it with Digi being such a douche towards her now! She jumped into her kart and took chase. Digi seemed determined! He wanted answers!
