Sparkz crossed the line first. Digi came in second and Gloyd followed closely behind him. The jumped out and re-grouped. Sparkz gloated making her victory pose to show off. Digi and Gloyd sneered stating that they had let her win. She growled at the boys childish actions. Gloyd and Digi just chuckled. Gloyd walked over to his girl and gave her a hug, That seemed to calm her down! Digi watched and couldn`t help but feel like a third wheel in this trip, It upset him quite a bit. Gloyd turned to Digi and patted him on the shoulder “Nice racing out there, Cant believe you beat me but, you know. You win some you lose some!” He chuckled. Digi smiled and returned the compliment. The three jumped back in their karts and drove elsewhere. Digi had no idea where to go so followed his pals and never took lead. Eventually they arrived at a little grove hidden within the bushes. In single file the three took turns to crawl through the bush, emerging on a mountain side over looking the new race ways. The sun was far set and the stars where shining in the sky like lamps. The sight was breathtaking. Sparkz smiled happily “This is where us female heroes used to hang out when we weren`t in the race, But I don`t mind you guys knowing about it either”. They laid on the grass, It was soft and cushiony and has the slight aroma of citrus fruits which was relaxing. Sparkz laid on Gloyds chest and together they stargazed. Digi who sat on his own watched and scanned the horizon, All the areas he recognised! He could race there now, He was no longer an un-used character. He felt his soul warm up and turned to speak to Gloyd and Sparkz. But seeing the two together, He stopped and again felt lonely. Suddenly fur brushed against him. He swiftly tilted his head to have Tekz staring him in the eye! How could he of forgotten Tekz was in the back of his kart! Digi smiled and got up. Gloyd and Sparkz lifted themselves up and watched as he ran to the top of the hill with Tekz by his side. “What are you doing?” Gloyd shouted. Sparkz was unimpressed “I wouldn`t if I was you” She warned but it was too late. Digi was running down the hill, gaining speed quickly. Tekz pounced down the hill next to her owner who was enjoying himself, laughing as he went. Suddenly he tripped and began to tumble down the hill. It hurt. He was jumping as he rolled and he couldn`t seem to stop himself from falling. Tekz had skidded to a stop and joined by the two racers, They watched him fall. Digi screamed as his bottom half collided with a tree and he bounce off it landing in a thorn bush. He dug his claws into the soil so managed to get next to no thorns stuck in him!
Sparkz sighed “Told him so”. The two slowly made their way down and helped Digi up. Digi tried to stand but every time he put his left foot down he was succumb by pain. As Digi kept trying, It became obvious that Digi wasn`t able to walk, Or drive for that matter! Sparkz and Gloyd struggled as they helped Digi up the hill and into his kart but at least Digi did as much as he could and Tekz lightened the load by helping out. Gloyd attached a tow rope between his and Digi`s kart and drove back to his house. Sparkz drove behind making sure Digi`s kart didn`t swerve or stop! Gloyd’s mother watched as the two guided Digi`s kart onto the drive way without fail. She waited at the door as they supported Digi and walked over. Digi and Gloyd waved as Sparkz left, It was really late and Bugxel probably missed her by now. Gloyd’s mother now took her turn to help Digi. “So what happened?” She asked. Gloyd explained to his mother how Digi had had quite a nasty fall. Cansy frowned “ Well we have no spare room so why don’t you set Digi up in your room”. Gloyd was happy with the thought. Even though he was a single child he had always had a bunk bed in his room. Maybe know he would get to know what it would be like to share the bunk bed! Gloyd brought Digi to his room and Digi laid down on the bottom bunk. Tekz followed them in and jumped onto the bed by Digi`s feet and instantly fell asleep. Digi yawned and Gloyd smiled as he climbed onto the top bunk. Cansy entered and checked Digits leg. “Thank gosh ,It`s not broken. But that is a painful strain you got” She smiled “It`ll be best you stayed her for a few days”. Out of sight, Gloyd made a fist a pulled it downwards across him. `Yesssssssssssssss` He thought. Just as his mother was leaving Gloyd spoke, “Where`s father? Still out on business”. Cansy nodded and left. Gloyd hung his head over the side of his bunk “ Hey Didg!”. Digi acknowledged him. “Tomorrow, Since your staying, You wanna have a go against me on my Candy-box game console? I recently got the new Hail of war game!” Digi smiled a wide grin. He was exited but very tired at the same time. He yawned and accepted Gloyds invitation to play and then silently fell to sleep, Dreaming of Bubble as he usually did. Gloyd watched him for a few moment smiling, Happy that he didn`t feel alone! He laid back on his bed and also fell asleep.
