Over the next few days Gloyd and Digi thoroughly enjoyed each others company. They would sit and play video games or design a few pranks for later. There were times when other racers came over and joined in with the antics. Gloyd wasn`t there all the time as he had to go race or had dates with Sparkz. In this time Digi usually rested. It had been about a week and Digi was laying in bed half asleep. Gloyd was sitting at his desk planning his next diabolical prank which he was going to play on Jubileena. The front door opened and a manly voice echoed through the halls. There was no mistaking it! Gumple, Gloyd`s father was home. Gumple emerged in Gloyds door and was greeted with a hug. He smiled at his son and messed with Gloyd hair playfully. He looked at Digi and smiled. Digi slowly lifted a hand to say `hello` back. Gloyd went back to his desk and began explaining his plan to his father who chuckled every so often with amusement. Digi listened in but eventually found himself drifting off back into dream land! He awoke a few hours later and looked around the room, The lights were off so he figured Gloyd must be in out. But then hearing his and his parents voice coming from the front room he thought otherwise. He got up, His foot stung but at least it didn`t cane anymore. He could walk on it and use it fine. He walked out of the room, limping slightly, and over to the front room. Gloyd parents were talking to him about something serious. Digi could tell by the tone of their voice, He wasn`t sure this was something he needed to hear but curiosity took its course as he stood quietly in the doorframe.
“Now Gloyd, I know you feel like the racer in your room is nothing more than a great friend to you” His father spoke, Digi didn`t like the sound of where this was going. “But truth is that Digi is more to us of a family than a friend… You see” He stopped and sighed. Cansy burst out what her husband was trying to say, unable to keep it in anymore. “YOU AND DIGI ARE BROTHERS!!!!” Gloyd jumped back. He exclaimed `what!` But Digi`s voice over powered and spoke out louder. Gumple and Cansy turned in horror, How long had Digi been standing there? Digi stumbled backward, shocked and confused. He stumbled back into someone. “ Whoa there Didg!”A voice spoke down to him, Digi recognized the voice from not long ago, Antony? Digi turned and again shuffled backwards and tripped as he entered the room. Gloyd caught him. “Wha…what are you doing here!” Digi spluttered. Cansy calmly answered his question “Well, Digi dear. Antony is the one who found out about it all!” Digi shook his head “But your not my parents! You have no birth certificates of me!” Gloyd walked the more than shaken racer to a seat and they sat down next to each other. Antony began explaining of how they weren`t generic brothers but because how Gloyd was created from part of Digi`s code ,they shared a brotherly bond. Gloyd got a little confused because Antony began to over explain things at time and used really big and geeky words, some of them not even real!. After it all Gloyd turned to his parents “Why had you never told me before!”He demanded to know in a soft voice. His father shrugged as he answered politely “We didn`t even know until a few days ago! And we thought It would be best if we told you when we were both home! We never meant for Digi to hear but as he did…”. Gloyd put 2 and 2 together and smiled with glee as he put an arm around Digi “Hear that Didg!, Welcome home, bro. I always knew I couldn`t be a lonely sibling. I gotta tell Sparkz and everyone!!!! Oh my gosh I could so Vurp right now!” He had taken that word from Vanellope`s vocabulary and enjoyed using it. He was over the moon with excitement but Digi on the other hand seemed emotionless and still. Digi brushed Gloyd’s hand off his shoulder and stood up. “I..i gotta go get some air!” He stammered as he walked over to the front door and left. Gloyd and Tekz went to run after Him but Antony stopped them. “ Just let him have some time alone. It was a lot for him to take in, Its for the best” Antony looked up at the stars which had began emerging in the orange sky “ Something tells me its destiny for him to go to the next location on his own, I gotta go… Final test for school today” He spoke the final words as he was engulfed by light and vanished. Gloyd watched as Digi drove off and Grinned. He had a bro! Awesome. He just HAD to go tell Sparkz!
