Digi stood on the wall by the edge of the cliff. He had returned to his little hide away located in the sonic the fighters game. The moon was just rising on the horizon and a small gust blew through the cherry blossom trees. Digi stood trying to balance himself, The stone wall was old and uneven! He finally got his balance and looked to the moon. He smiled. He was happy he was part of a family and wasn`t born to be forever alone! He had just used that information as a decoy to get here. He took a few minutes just to stare at the silver moon shining in the starry sky. His breath turned to steam as it condensated in the cold. The time was round about correct. `Any moment now` Digi thought and he gulped slightly anxious. What happened next could have a short or long time effect. Then words came from behind him, The voice started a whisper but then grew into a clear voice. Finally The voice was coming from behind Digi. It spoke in an angelic voice and asked “H-hello?”. Digi took a deep breath put on a smile. “Huh” He lightly spoke as if he didn`t hear the voice then turned to face his visitor; Bubble! As Digi turned a huge gust of wind blasted through picking up the cherry blossom leaves off the floor and scattering them through the air. Digi tilted his head as he winked “Oh, Welcome” He childishly exclaimed before smiling at her in a friendly fashion. Bubble looked slightly embarrassed and somewhat angry “Digi! Why did you call me here” She demanded to know. Digi jumped down in front of her giving her a small shock. He looked her in the eyes, “I..I wanted to talk” He began walking towards the bench. Bubble followed him. ”Im sorry for the other day” He apologised, ”If that’s why you`ve been ignoring me… Then I understand if you would never want to see me again”. He sat down and Bubble sat next to him giggling. “Don`t be daft Digi” She smiled, “Thanks for apologising though but its not really necessary!” Digi looked at her in a confused manor. She explained everything to him, Emphasizing how guys like him wouldn`t understand what runs through a girls mind. She was right! Digi couldn`t get to grip with most of what she said but he tried to at least.
Digi looked down as he spoke again, “Just so you know… I found out today that me and Gloyd are basically brothers”. Bubble`s reply gave him a fright “I know!”. Digi`s eyes widened, `What the hell?!` He thought to himself. Before he could ask how Bubble was already explaining how Crona had spoken to her the other day about it and had only known for a short amount of time. It was now Digi`s turn to feel embarrassed, “So how many people know?!” He asked her hastily. “Only Me, Crona and I’m guessing Gloyd’s family since you know!” She replied happily. Digi sighed with relief and the two promised that if people were going to know via them, It wouldn`t be through rumours! Then the simple idle chat began. Digi never realized that him and Bubble had so much in common! The two swapped racing tips and short cut locations for the racing tracks and had a huge amount of fun doing so. It was all going so well. But then She glitched! Digi jumped out of the seat and stared at her with terror! “Bubble! Your… Glitching!” He exclaimed. Bubble suddenly teared up, “Yes I glitch ok! Im the reason The game was actually unplugged!” She jumped to conclusions. She got up and went to leave. Digi grabbed her arm with power and accidently made it bleed slightly. Bubble began screaming for help thinking Digi had got mad at her and was trying to hurt her because of such. Digi pulled her to him and hugged her. Looking at the Digital hero she realized he was crying! “Why…Didn`t you just tell me?” Digi asked softly. Bubble stayed silent, What on earth was going on? Digi held her tightly and didn`t seem to want to let go, He continued to softly speak to her, “Its ok… understand why you blamed me for your glitching… you panicked so blamed the easy target! And look where the years of torment got me! Thank you “ Bubble just could work out what to say, Was Digi really thanking her for messing up his life? “I had my suspicions… My glitch only caused a slight crash in the system. Not enough to shut the game off!” He smiled and kissed her on the cheek. He let go of her but she had taken tight grasp of him and was crying softly on his shoulder. Digi patted her back to comfort her. He felt happy that she now knew he was there for her at all times.
After the tear were shed, Digi walked Bubble home, Hand in hand. Digi could feel a rush of emotions that he never thought he would ever feel as they travelled the streets, The sun was coming up but no-one was really wake yet, well almost everyone. As they reached the Digi-Heroes home, Movement was clearly visible in the window. All the other heroes were looking out the window happy to see Bubble was ok. The door swung open and Boiler came out, His attitude blazed with rage as he scorned Bubble “ And where the hell have you been! We were worried sick! Just leave and not give any note! We thought you had been hero-napped!”He shouted, Seeing Digi behind her his anger turned to him. He began to stomp towards Digi “YOU SON OF A GLITCH! WHADDYA DO TO HER!” Calmsy, Gear and Frost came charging out and pulled Boiler back, Telling him to calm down. Digi spoke clearly and proud to boiler apologising for getting Bubble in trouble “I asked her not to inform anyone! I wanted to see her in private! And as a punishment you may have a punch at me!”. Everyone stared blankly at Digi, even boiler who then began laughing. “You’re a true gent ain’t ya.” He laughed “ Well at least she was with you and not with strangers!”.He had calmed down after finding Digi`s request a huge laugh! Bubble began to walk inside but Digi called for her one last time. “There was a reason I called you out, I wanted to ask you something” All the female Heroes gasped. “Which is better? Street fighter or Final fantasy?” The girls now stared at Digi. Their faces showed a clear saying of `what the hell dude!`. Digi chuckled. “Im joking… what I really wanted to ask was….” He looked at the audience he now had. `Crack` he though `This is gonna be difficult` But he swallowed fear again and spoke his mind to her “….Bubble Blast? Will you go out with me?!?!”
