Digi woke up after his extended and forced rest hearing the front door close. Digi got up, Still feeling dizzy and went downstairs. Bubble had just come in and was hanging up her jacket, It must be a nippy day in the game! “Bubble?”Digi questioned. She turned and smiled at him. “How did you get…”Digi follow up question was interrupted as Bubble twirled a key on one of her claws “I hope you don`t mind” She shyly spoke, ”You were asleep for longer than even Dilly-Da normally is!” She giggled. She walked over and hugged him, They had only been going out for less than a week so Digi was still not very sure how to be a boyfriend. He kissed her and she kissed him back. She went to give the key back but Digi didn`t want it. “You keep it” He smiled “I have a spare, So where`d you go?”. Bubble looked at him as if he had just said something stupid. “It’s the 16 of June you know! Fathers day!” She replied sounding amused. Crack! That was today. Digi had to get to Gloyd’s home stat and apologise to his dad! Bubble laughed “You forgot, didn`t you! Lets go then~” .Digi smiled at her and ,hand in hand, They walked to their karts. Together they drove to Sugar rush. When they arrived the two entered Gloyd`s house and joined everyone in the front room. Gumple was sitting happily with his wife cuddling him, wearing a small festive badge. Sparkz and Gloyd were sitting also cuddled up with each other. Gloyd looked at Digi and realizing he didn`t have a present, he got up. “Mum, Dad. Please follow me” He politely requested. Everyone got up and followed him outside, in front of the garage. Digi and Bubble were confused but stood in between Gloyd and Sparkz. Gloyd announced that he wanted to challenge his parents to a race. “But It`s been so long and Our karts are probably dust by now ”Gumple sadly replied. Gloyd shook his head and lifted the garage door. Revealing Both Cansy and Gumple`s old karts sparkling and looking brand new. The parents looked at they`re old karts shocked and over joyed to see them in such great condition, “Me,Sparkz and Digi helped redo your karts” Gloyd spoke proudly. Sparkz frowned and was about to remind him how Digi HAD NOT helped in any way but Gloyd quickly shut her up and told her of how this was fair pay; Since Digi had recently taken the blame for him when Bugxel had messed up the house. Gumple and Cansy jumped in their karts and were surprised by how new they looked even though these were their original karts. The four racers jumped in their karts and drove off, the parents following them to the Halloween themed track.
They pulled up near the start line and Gloyd jumped out to start the racing system. Gumple sighed “ I remember this place, This is where I first met my wife, It hasn`t changed a bit.” The parents reminisced on old times. Sparkz joined Gloyd, Who couldn`t work out what he was doing! Digi turned to his girl, “Hey you wanna race with?” He asked her. She nodded and flashed him a smile “I wont let you win though” She warned. Gloyd and sparks returned and got back in their karts. Everyone Lined up on the start line and the lights began to signal the race was about to go underway. The eerie themed music played and the race began!The race finished with Gumple first followed by Sparkz and Bubble tying in second, Gloyd third then Digi. Cansy was last place but it was later found she deliberately drove slow so she could take in the scenery . Gumple stood proud on the winners podium. He jumped down and was hugged by his two sons. “Happy Fathers day” They chimed in sync .
