Backstory:
Before the events in the film, Jemma was the best racer in the entire arcade. Her constant win streak earned her the nickname “The cheat” as many jealous racers refuse to believe that they had been so easily out-skilled. Jemma resided in Sugar Rush, taking challenges from other racers during the closed hours. She was well known for her positive attitude despite all the rumours and accusations against her. Jemma always had a thirst for wanting to know what other games were like however she never left Sugar Rush. Instead she learned from talking to challengers from other games, who were determined to test her skill on the track. Her imagination would go wild, Painting wonder-filled landscapes of lush green fields, Dazzling oceans and cities that illuminated the night sky. She would often share what she heard with her best friend Vanellope, Who was the president at the time. The two girls shared a strong friendship, often talking about racing, dreams for the future or about other more feminine subjects. Vanellope would love to listen to Jemma talk about her racing experiences as she of yet did not have a kart of her own. Vanellope longed to race , inspired by what she heard, claiming, “It`s in my code” . Jemma felt bad that her best friend wasn`t only not able to leave the game but couldn`t race either. So, as a birthday treat, They worked together to make a pedal-powered kart which they named the “Lickedy-Split”. However a few days later, when Jemma had planned to start personally teaching Vanellope how to drive; She found her best friend crying and glitching more than usual. Learning that Vanellope had been thrown out of the castle by her father (The real king candy), Jemma stormed over to the castle to try to set things right. She was let in by the King but something about him felt off; He was more impatient and grouchy as if he was in the middle of doing something secret. She was told to wait in the main hall until the king had finished some “Business” that he had to attend to. However being the rebel she was, she snooped around and uncovered Turbo trying to hack the mainframe. Angry that he had been followed and knowing that Jemma would ruin his plan; Turbo tore out Jemma`s code and forced it into another file, encrypting it with a data lock. As her code moved, Jemma could do nothing but watch herself turn into a pixely dust and vanished from existence. Unlike Vanellope`s , Her file was not removed from the code. This means that during her absence she was always there at the back of people’s memories.
Vanellope missed her best friend dearly. The rumours of Jemma going missing or even dead fuelled her wish to race even further, to the point where she wanted to race at any cost! Deep down.. Vanellope felt somewhat guilty; Her best friend has vanished helping her.
Moving forward to the current day, Most of the racers have forgotten Jemma however she remains a whisper in Vanellope`s memories. Crona is trying to bring “Digi”, a Digi-hero who had been stabbed, back using one of Gloyd`s unused files; As they had agreed previously. While plugged into the system, Crona accidently hits a file, opening it. Inside is a strangely encrypted file which seemed to be forced into place. Not wanting to get distracted ,He puts it on a waiting list on a Win-Rar7-like software present on his device and carries on with the task at hand. By the time the file is being scanned, it had been forgotten by Crona and took a few days to scan; due to a huge quantity of files being locked. If it wasn`t for Gabby (One of Crona`s [adopted?] children) the completed scan may of taken even longer to notice. Upon clicking “Ok” the file opened. Surprised to of found a racers code, Crona considered whether they had be locked away for a reason or by mistake; However it didn`t take much to convince him to restore the file. Crona restored it, only remembering the recoil it would do as the electricity pulsed through him.
Crona found Jemma collapsed by the code room and brought her to the hospital. After getting Jemma a room so she could be checked, the first thing Crona did was call Vanellope; She had been racing and had only just got home. Thinking Crona was injured, Vanellope rushed to the hospital with Gabby and received the biggest shock of her life; And it just got better as Jemma awoke~

`Jemma opened her eyes quickly and looked around the room, She brought herself up so she was leaning back on her hands and watched as the two figures in front of her spoke. She kindly waited for them to finish before coughing to alert them to her awakened status. The two figures turned. Jemma had no idea who the guy was but instantly recognised the other. ”Glitch…” Jemma gasped, sounded slightly annoyed. Vanellope sounded equally angry, “Cheat!”. Crona prepared to jump in to stop an argument in case one broke out. The two girls erupted into laughter. Crona relaxed himself and twiddled his fingers while they laughed. “So you know each other?”, he asked. Jemma scanned Crona with her eyes and whistled, “Hope you don`t mind me asking Glitch Queen… but who’s the H-o-t-t-i-e?”. Crona stepped back. Vanellope gave Jemma a goofy un-amused look, “Behave yourself, That’s my knight and husband, Crona”. At the mention of his name Crona nodded slightly. Jemma smiled, “Husband? Well you`ve done well for yourself haven`t you now”. Vanellope nodded and turned to Crona, “Motor Brain, This is the one and only Jemma Victoria Console. My first best friend” . “A pleasure to meet you” Jemma smirked giving Crona a flirty look. “Behave!” Vanellope snapped playfully again, this time a little more seriously; She didn`t like the way Jemma was staring down her husband.”

Anything to add?:
- Her voice actor used the same voice as used for “Captain Amelia” in Disney’s variation of “Treasure Planet”. [I`ll leave a link in the desc. to part of the film (Its one of my childhood favourites)]
-When first created she was going to be used in a game created by the same company known as “Digi-Hero” However due to time constraints, she was scraped as a hero and quickly implemented as a Sugar-Racer. This is why her theme doesn`t represents any kind of sweet treat.
- She was designed around the popular gaming consoles/companies of the time; Nintendo Wii , X-box 360, Playstation 3 and Sega. Her design did spark a lot of controversy however in the end an agreement of copyright was issued with said companies.
-Her kart is entitled “ Platform PXU” and is based on aspects of game consoles.
-(I think this counts as a fact since you can`t see them in the pic) She has 2 main pairs of footwear; Since heels aren`t good for driving in! Her High heels are based on the PS2 controller, Having buttons labelled “L1+2” and “R1+2” on the back. She wears these most of the time. Her boots correspond to the X-box logo using the green X over the grey material and are used for driving.
-She keeps her hair up using special hair clips, and has a set for: PlayStation (As you see in the pic), Xbox and even the Wii (buttons 1+2 and a D-pad) .
-She hates being the centre of attention, unless it’s for winning a race.
-She is one of the only original Sugar Racers to be given a more `adult/teen` body structure.
-Although not good at fighting, she can easily think of ways to create combos. Meaning if she gets into a fight she can usually get a few clean quick-fire attacks on the opponent. She prefers not to fight and would usually just stun the attacker to gain means of escape.
-She has STILL never left Sugar Rush and never plans to as long as Vanellope can`t.
-She isn`t really keen on being mischievous unless it’s with someone she knows and trusts.
-She feels jealous of Sparkz Zapster because she has seem Bugxel , Sparkz`s pet cy-bug, and wants to have him as her pet!
- Normally she acts quite dignified and “lady-like” but how she acts is depends on who she`s with.
- She loves playing Video Games but she loves to beat guys at video games even more though as she feels the stereotype that was placed on females is wrong.
- She knows about the Diet Cola Mountain stage as Vanellope has shown it to her.
-She can be quite flirty however she is not looking for a partner; It`s just the way she is~
-The stings that hold up her dress correspond to the jack-plug-ins for a headset , Her original design called for her to be wearing futuristic headphones. It is only part of her Japanese outfit and wasn`t included in the European and American design.
