*drools*
That looks so incredibly delicious. I'm not sure if the addition of strawberries tips it into heavenly or ambrosiac.

Aw! Thats really sad
I did a cake for a friends birthday once, when I gave it to her she started crying and I thought she didn't like it,
then she told me it was her first birthday cake ever (age 41)
so then I was really pleased I did it for her

Oh now that looks sinful. Think I got a couple kidney stones just from looking at it (chocolate gives me kidney stones).

Wow. That is a LOT of chocolate!
The shape reminds me of a pine cone, which is a very positive thing. It's very earthy and natural. I love the aesthetic.

on 2nd thought I'd prefer eating the remainders like scratching the remaining chocolate off the bowls and pans... I prefer that much more than eating the actual cake

Yikes! Just went to the cupboard to see which choc I used on this one, and it was actually French!!! Callebaut (it says on their website that it is approved by Belgian chocolate makers). It is the chocolate used by the competitors in the Chocolate masters competitions.
(Description changed! Thanks for noticing!)
ps I love Cote d'or Choc............delicious!!!

I agree!
All chocolated out now, have spent the last two hours teaching students how to temper for the first time. Was really pleased that 8 out of the 11 even managed to make their own chocolate cigarillos very well and the others passably by the end of the night!
Happy now!

I wonder.... Did it look like a rose from above? It just seems to have the shape and texture.
