Grossest experience in the cake shop........ever!A customer brought in a live rag worm to ask me to copy it for her husband!
The board this cake sits on is 24" x 14".
I carved the sponge, then covered the cake in one piece, using modelling tools to mark the icing into the correct patterns.
The cake was painted brown and the coated in piping gel to give it that horrible slimy look

Cool, you are amazingly talented, but for some reason I kept imagining a man presenting his wife with that cake...his wife would scream the house down and proceed to use a newspape to try and kill it.
I thought at first that the wife had a vendetta aginst her husband: maybe she asked for this cake to imply that he is about as attractive as a ragworm, I later learned (according to the replies of the comments) that the husband worked in a fish bait company.
I guess it's a odd way of expressing your love.
