Description
In another of the Alternative universes in which non-avian dinosaurs escaped of their fatal fate, something interesting happened with the Tyran predators of the cretaceous. The Sagaxotyrannus proves to be a very specialized form tyrannosaur which has developed a large brain, which allows it to develop a huge intelligence and cognitive abilities. It is a species that appeared during the Pliocene at the peak of the decline of global temperatures. they are a nomadic speces, having a huge range of distribution throughout Asia and eastern Europe. They have a fairly established social structure, with the adult male as a leader, a female beside him and several other young and adult siblings below this one. Males which want to get the title of leader or should challenge the adult in charge but for the sons of the leader, thes must pass by a hunter rite which is to catch prey and the fiercest fighters such as the horned dinosaurs. They are in an advanced stage at the age of metals, capable of making iron tools.
In the scene, a leader male teaches how to hunt one of the older of his son, having managed to catch and successfully kill a large hadrosaur. The theropod has a part of a ceratopsian frill which is the symbol of his power, after having caught one huge ceratopsid.Β
Behind them, a large monolithic statue of a powerfull entities that once inhabited this world is imposed, and that probably had something to do with the evolution of these sapient tyrans.

Funny how these tyrannosaurs managed to become sapient even though its arms are relatively tiny.

If I were to make my T rexes intelligent, I would make their arms a bit larger, because sometimes, evolution might have to take a step back once in a while.

I have to ask if you could do a tyrannosaurus species with a bigger female. Maybe three to four feet taller. I-if you don't mind, that is

Okay, that is really awsome! Will we see more species from this world or learn more about these sapient tyrants?!

thanks.
Not much, only that there are sapient tyrants, anything else

Are there any intelligent herbivores?

Interesting concept. Though wouldn't having just the mouth as a manipulator (I'm guessing those tiny arms with just two short fingers are not much use) make tool use rather difficult and awkward?
Also, it seems a bit odd that the sapient tyrannosaurs appear to be the product of alien intervention rather than purely natural processes, though this is not necessarily a bad thing for the concept.

Thanks.Β They use the tongue and even feet to make a more precise manipulation.

Ha! This is amazing! I'm curious if the Tyrans still have bone-crunching jaws.

In fact they still have it.
Actually it plays an important role in some of their rites because they must use their ownΒ mandibularΒ strength by their ability to kill prey without the need forΒ tools.
