Description Something I've hear about the discovery of Aquilolamna and reading the paper is the possibility that the enigmatic Platylithophycus belongs to the same family, of course the lack of gill arches on Aquilo makes unlikely to to confirm this, in that regard I tried to speculateΒ on a possible size estimation for the gill arches on Aquilolamna based on the size of its body and then scale it up, the result is an animal with a relativr size of 4 to 5 meters in length.

Note: this is speculative, nothing of this is confirmed or close to be confirmed at date.
