Description While watching "The Last Dragon" made me think on some things when I was seeing the parts of the Forest dragon, specifically with its ability to imitate sounds and also be able to cook the prey using its own fire, as well the possibility to re-evolve their atrophied wings into functional limbs, I imagined about the possibility of intelligence development, and from that idea derived in this being, the Pyrocerebellim is a sort of flightless long legged dragon coming near the clade of the mountain dragons but unlike these their wings degenerated and became normal arms with functional hands with fingers, some of these came from a bizarre kind of cursorial predators in eurasia, middle east. The free manipulatory limbs let them to develop objects and thus make tools, alongside their already mastering of fire for their own fire breathing and the access of cooked food it allow to its line no only to thrive but also start to develop bigger brains, climbing rapidly in cognitive and brain development, eventually reaching sapience.

This species, apart from having developed technology, is also capable of generating a varied amount of sounds that together allows them to communicate properly with a very extended language, in a way comparable to some hominids or psittacids, even being able to imitate a variety of other sounds such as animal noises.

In the sense of the word... yeah... pretty much reptilian centauroids (due to not have extra torso)

As a kid I wanted them to do a sequel with more dragon species. Love the concept. Certainly an interesting one

How big compared to a human & the Mountain Dragon?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Dragonthunders In reply to Tigon1Monster [2019-11-15 02:02:30 +0000 UTC]

Is at least smaller that the mountain dragon, around 2 m at the shoulder

Tigon1Monster In reply to Dragonthunders [2019-11-15 02:13:52 +0000 UTC]

Okay.

Just to say. If the four dragons were in HTTYD, I'd choose the Mountain Dragon as my riding dragon. The males are my favorite color.
