Tobiah is a very sarcastic guy, whether to say something positive or negative, he often expresses himself sarcastically. So its best to keep this in mind when listening to him, he can sometimes sound 100% serious when in fact he's being completely sarcastic. So keep a tuned ear for his sarcasm as he might just catch you off guard!

Tobiah can definitely speak and does so when he feels fit, but he isn't one to fight battles that he doesn't see as necessary. So often times even if he disagree's he might just shrug and go with what the leader thinks is best anyways. If you want his true opinion its best to question him, otherwise he'll only speak up when he feels it's important.

[Bold/Blunt]
"I think that's a dumb idea, your gonna get us all killed"
When Tobiah does speak, and it's not sarcastic, he's very bold and blunt, so be prepared for an honest answer. He also doesn't commit to something he's not passionate about or doesn't really care about. So he's very bold in doing his work and isn't one to coward down from a fight he feels is worth fighting for.

"It'd be way better if the reinforced the armor with leather straps, maybe ask the blacksmith if they can do that for you?"
Tobiah would rather do what's most logical then what he feels like doing, for this reason, he may seem a bit annoying. As he will push a point if he doesn't see the logic in it, even if the other cat isn't looking for a logical answer. He means well, and doesn't mean to upset anyone but those more emotionally sensitive might find this trait annoying.

"It doesn't matter how I feel, we should do what's right regardless of our feelings."
Tobiah has learned to conceal his feelings and emotions, not many see them, and you really have to be very close for his to reveal how he feels.

[Easy-Going]
"Oh sorry I didn't mean to upset you, don't take it personally bro"
Tobiah is hard to offend, though he keeps his friends close and his true feelings concealed, in general, he's hard to upset. He usually means well and though he can be blunt he doesn't always realize not everyone is as easy-going as him. He'd rather sit back and think about a plan then rush in and do it unprepared.

[Crafty]
"Well if I take this vine and tie a knot I can make a trap..."
Tobiah is crafty, he's not a blacksmith or a medicine cat but he knows how to tie knots, to use grass as a camouflage and to set out meat to catch bigger prey or draw out a stray dog on their territory. He's crafty, his creations and idea's don't always work well, but it doesn't stop him from trying.

"Do you think there's more to the universe then meets the eye?"
Tobiah is quiet, and part of that is because he's usually always thinking, this constant thought leads him to some deep answers. Sometimes more then most cat's are ready to face.

"I'm a Mystic, I believe we know who God is by how we can experience him or her."
Tobiah claims to be a mystic, which means he believes in a creator God, or a great spirit even, but he's not that strong on pinning down specific rules, theology or anything of the sort, no he's more lead by experience, signs, and where his heart leads him. He's not one for rules and tends to avoid any overly-religious felines.

Bio/History
When Tobiah was a cub he was born to wild Jungle cat parents, one of his parents was red coloured while the other was orange, his siblings came out red and orange and oddly enough he was the only tan one. Its common for Jungle cat's to be red, orange, tan, or brown, and even some are found with a black mutation. Being the odd one out wasn't so bad though, his siblings and he got along well enough, Tobiah doesn't remember a lot about his cubhood or his siblings. He does remember the sweet scent and soft gentle voice of his mother, and the strong safe presence of his father. His siblings were fun to play with, they often tried to sneak out of the den without their parents noticing. But his mother always caught them before they got too far.
All was well, and he knew very little about the big world around him. That was until one day, snuggled up to his warm mother, all that was taken away. That day was scary, net's covered them, his father had been out hunting, his mother was yelling, snarling and growling, she clawed at these weird tall pink and brown figures, fighting as blood was spilled, Tobiah only remembers flashes of it, but he had felt so confused, scared, and lost, not understanding what was going on.

He and his family were put into separate wooden box's him and his siblings being old enough to eat meat now, so they didn't need their mother's milk. It was small and cramped, Tobiah felt scared and confused but missing his comfortable spot next to his Mother already. A young man, a human, was pointing at him excitedly, smiling from ear to ear. He didn't know what this human wanted with him, but he would later be grateful for him.
Though Tobiah was also sad because he never got to see his mother, father or siblings again, he would miss them, but he knew his mother would want him to move on and live his own life. His new owner was a young man who hunted birds for a living, his name was Jake, he lived just outside of the city and trained Tobiah up to hunt birds. It was a hard skill but within a year and a half he was full grown and taking down all kinds of birds. His owner loved him, took care of him and Tobiah loved him - this was the life!

However one day Jake got caught selling rare birds on the black market, which was against the law. He tried to run, but the Hunters in the city caught him and took him to prison. Tobiah knew not of any of this, all he knew was one day a patrol of hunters broke into his quiet peaceful home and dragged him away to be put in a cage. Once again confused and scared he was told he wouldn't see his owner again and instead would either be used as bait in the Coliseum or sold to someone else. Tobiah would pay for crimes he never knew he committed, to begin with, all because of these cat's called "Hunters".
Tobiah wasn't going to give up, he was determined to change this somehow, but how? That was when he met another cat while in there, a small serval named Adriyel who was planning an escape himself with a few others cats. Adriyel told him about the Empire cat's, the cat's who fought for freedom. Tobiah liked the sound of that, to be free, he knew that's with his master would want him to be after the events of the past few months - to be free.

So Tobiah gathered up all the courage he could, and when the escape happened he helped, fighting alongside these other cats from all different Empire's, backgrounds, and species. They escaped together then went their way's, it took the jungle cat a couple months of exploring and hunting to finally figure out where the Empire's were, stumbling across a Air Empire Patrol he asked to join and was accepted into the Empire.
