I seem to have lost
My other half
Wandering the streets
Half the person I used to be

Katsu?

Scout's heart was pounding, fire building up in her gut as she rushed the streets, until her eye's set on the monster spite. Panting as her breath showed in the air, wether from her warming body tempature or the cold air, or maybe a mix of both. She didn't know, all she knew is she needed to help, she saw Katsu take to the air but lost sight of her for the moment. Rolling up closer, she focused the warmth flooding her body into her hands, catching sight of the fire building up into ball-shapes in her hands.

Dodging down as the creature swung at her, she spun and threw the fire towards it, only to look up in time to see Katsu fly by in a blur. She didn't get to look to see where her mate landed, because she had to jump out of the way of another swing from the large spite. But it didn't stop her scream, loud and filled with fear.

"KATSU!" She almost stumbled as she backed away from the creature, suddenly not caring to fight it anymore. She needed to find Katsu! She ran towards the woods, but stopped short of reaching it, glancing back to see the creature distracted fighting other gro's, she was far enough away now that it wouldn't bother her.

"Katsu? Where are you?!" She called...

But no one answered,

She ran into the woods, searching for any sign of her, her arms getting scratched up as she shoved her way through bushes, twigs, and sticks.

"KATSU!!!"

Nothing.

"KATSU WHERE ARE YOU!" She screamed, this time, her voice was filled with dread, and pain.

"Katsu I need you...oh God please Katsu..." She looked around frantically...

But Katsu was no where to be found.

EDIT: So I could have sworn the final image had the fire effect when I saved it but apparently it didn't?? I don't even know how that happened since the file on my desktop has it so idk? DA is weird XD Anyway its fixed now.
