Dudarillos and dudarillas, I thank you all. Sorry but lately I haven't really had the time to even visit deviantart very often, so my apologies if I haven't replied. I deserve the sword.

I love that in this stunning oil painting, you didn`t shy away from portraying Conan The Barbarian as having shiny, big, bulging, veiny, sinewy muscles and I love that you didn`t shy away from making him big and bulky.Jason Mamoa as Conan in last year`s Conan Reboot, was far too skinny as Conan and I thought they should have gone with a guy with much bigger muscles. They shouldn`t have tried to have it be ''the leaner, meaner Conan.'' Nah,they should have made it ''the bigger, meaner Conan with the huge muscles and brute strength.''
It`s not a portrayal of Conan people should run from, but over the years, some have done so and still do so,in their portrayals of The Dark-Haired Cimmerian. This look for Conan should be embraced more.In the old Frank Frazetta paintings of Conan, yes,Conan was a leaner Warrior and the Arnold Schwarzenegger-version of Conan is not the be-all and the end-all for Conan, but it`s a model for Conan that I happen to like and it`s a model for Conan that I would have personally preferred that they had gone with for the 2011 movie. You didn`t have any fear in making Conan the big, bulky muscle-man,just like rometheus273 said, and you did a great job on Conan`s muscular physique. The big muscles just work for certain characters far more than they ever would for some other characters.Your incredible painting of Conan The Barbarian reminds me of a Frank Frazetta painting of Conan-only with way bigger muscles. This is how Conan should have looked in the 2011 Conan movie and this is how I like to see Conan.

Great job on the muscular physique. I think some people shy away from big muscles but on Conan they're absolutely necessary. It suits his barbarian character and makes us believe that he could in fact kill a huge monster.
