Man! I really, really love this piece! And it's way to hard to fake this one! Here are my good and improvable idea lists.

Good:
#1- The emotion of the character. When I look at your character, I know how she feels. I think she looks quite confident.
#2- Highlights. What really brings a character to life is highlights and shadows. This also is noticeable on the eyes, which achieve emotion.
#3- Anatomy. Oh boy! Someone who aces this clearly got a bucket full-a-skill! You are able to draw hands, hair, the dress, just so much effort put into this.
#4- Effort and passion. Nothing is good without these key elements. You and art work perfectly together. No, not because it "looks good", because I can see your effort.

What I suggest:
#1- Try using less purple. Ok, so this is blatantly optional. You don't have to, but I suggest it. If you were going for a purple theme, that's awesome! But there is a little bit of a lack of pop.
