You know, when you do the quest to kill the Tal'Vashoth on the Wounded Coast, I thought for a moment that the one renegade Qunari that warns you of them would be a companion. Sadly, I was mistaken, but for a brief moment, I had hope.

Yes. That was TWO times Bioware messed with our Qunari-loving hearts. Bioware burned us twice. Then a third time at the fate of the Arishok. *crying quietly too* QUNARI NEEDS LOVE TOO.

Fighting the Arishok was one of the hardest battles for me, simply because I had won his respect and I adored him. It broke my heart to fight him. ;A;
Alas, no Qunari for us in this game, but hopefully *crosses fingers* if they make a Dragon Age III, we will finally get our wish....I know it's a lot to hope for, but I can still dream!!!

I know D: When he said "Fight me, TO THE DEATH", i was like "NOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooo"
And then I died of laughter, since the only way I could beat him was to RUN FOR MY LIFE between the pillars and then take a ninja move every now and then and cast Winters Grasp on him, then run for my life again until it had cooldowned, and then cast it again. I laughed so hard at my own fail.
Then sobbed and stopped playing when he died.
I WILL DREAM OF THE DAY FOREVER. I want one so bad. I will fangirl like never before.

So you must have played a Mage, eh? I was a Mage, too and Holy Maker it takes forever to kill him. I had to do the same thing, I ran around the room like mad to get away from him so I could cast a spell. Winter's Grasp was a HUGE help in slowing him down. I was a Force Mage as well so some of those spells slow him as well, making it easier to cast spells without him attacking me. He hits HARD.
However once the battle was over and he is laying on the steps I felt horrible for hurting him.
Oh, yes. Should Bioware ever give us a romancable Qunari, he will be worshiped like no other. I just know it. Hehe.

I know D: First time, he raped me with 3 hits. And then I was like "okai, new tactics... RUUUUUNNNNNN" And he doesnt only hit, he impales you and lift you up. How in the makers name did Hawke survive that. And I was an elemantal mage, so I just froze him and ran and then spammed some spells on him then ran XD Wasnt exactly an epic battle, was just running for my life while he jogged after....
I know, I was like "I DID THIS /cry /epic drama"
I would worship the very ground he walked on. And I just read that the Saarebas was actually intended as a companion. Bioware, WHY DID YOU SCRAP THAT IDEA.

I hear that all the classes require a little running around, we Mages just have to run more because our Constitution usually SUCKS. ;D I think most Rogue haveto run circles around him too, but of course warriors, especially the sword and boards, can probably go toe to toe much easier.

Ahaha, comparing the fight ingame with the fight in the destiny trailer, then that was hardcore fail, bioware. And I bet I'd get owned pretty good as either class, since I wasnt really on the xp-farming side...
I KNOW, RITE. When I read that, I was like "COME THE FUCK ON". UNFAIR. Imagine the drama if you were such an ass that you brought him with you to see the Arishok XD THE DRAMA. Would be worse than bringing Legion to the Migrant Fleet... And anyway, conflict just makes the story so much more interesting D: They should have let us keep him >:T Maybe Hawke could be his Arvaarad, or could have agreed to teach him how to be on your own as a mage.. Well, if she was mage class. SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES. Cheating us out on that one was just mean.

However I must hand it to you, that comment about taking Legion to the Migrant Fleet made me roll out of my chair laughing. Have you ever taken Legion to get Tali? I freaking love her reaction when she sees him. Oh, it made me giggle. I always had a soft spot for Legion, he was one of my faves. ^^
I know what you mean but Bioware cheating us, they better make up for it next game or MAYBE they will come out with a DLC companion that's a Qunari that you can get like after you defeat the Arishok. That would be AWESOME!
