It's finished. I've used way too much time on this.But anyway, after I read that Ketojan, the Saarebas you help out of the city, was originally planned to be a companion, I had a little ragefit and then had to draw WHAT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE /cry
Because the idea of Hawke helping him with those chains and the mask and stiches is just adorable.
I mean, how awesome wouldnt it be to have that guy around all the time. WHY BIOWARE, WHY DID YOU SCRAP THAT IDEA? IT WAS GOLD.
And his face was so much fun to draw. I think I'll upload a detail pic of it. And his face is of course all made up, I have no idea what he looks like.

Wait, we could of had a Ketojan as a party member? It's a shame that they didn't go through with it; the conversions, banters, possible friendship/rivalry and whatnot could have been exceedingly interesting to say the very least.
That aside, the art is splendid and I salute you for making it.

And yes I agree, as the game revolved around mages and templars, it would have been awesoem to get a qunari mage's viewpoint on it all. Alas, instead they went for whiny final fantasy characters...Damnit I wanted that manhunk.

Nicely done. It is too bad that we did not get to truly be-friend Ketojan. It would be nice to learn more of the Qunari. However, like with Sten, it would difficult to set up a romance with him because there would be so many differences culturally. We know just from Ketojan's willingness to submit to the Qun that he might have difficulty accepting or adapting to other ways of life.
Regardless, well done.

You are not the only one who was disappointed after finding out that this guy originally was meant to be a party member (and a love interest too). I was pissed off too. Really, REALLY pissed off, I wanted to kill someone and rip the damn Tome of Koslun apart (I love to tear books apart when I am angry

They scrapped a couple of companion ideas in the last game as well, though shame about this one. DA 2 had a PARTICULARLY rushed development. Hell, they even rushed DA: O and scrapped some ideas for that, even though it was in development for AGES longer.
