Frankly while it's not really canon Ben's to cook, let alone doing homemade food....this WAS a idea I had in the back of my mind namely inspired by some cooking manga(yes, real story) of sorts, namely how Ben would take up the hobby of cooking American(and sometimes American-Hoshido/Nohrian fused foods) to remember his old home....because as much traveling to new lands IS exciting.....and as much he likes to respect Hoshido and Nohr....there's something about the food that seems....underwhelming, namely despite their counterparts, don't really match up to the food he usually eat(Hoshido has miso, fried rice and what not, but not a lot of sushi nor ramen; Nohr dosen't have a lot of grains nor fruits not a lot of juicy barbeque worthy meats) Combined with Kamui getting a taste for some, might as well do his own cooking.

Although as he can do a good surf n turf or veggie coleslaw or even chicken nuggets.....he WON'T do chili fries, heck it's so sacred to him, even doing the recipe, he suppresses it enough to not cook good chili fried to begin with. While he's not a master chef like Jakob nor Kaze....he does cook up a good-old fashioned American fast food....with a nice side of smoothies now and often(although if you asked some, the things he uses for smoothies are....questionable at best....which says a lot) also don't tell me Ben listens to this when he's cooking: Bo Burnham - Bezos I (Lyrics) "ceo entrepreneur born in 1964" - Jeff Bezos - YouTube . I mean he would to some extent(to me at least) XD.
