I don't get it...!'Tis Soap. And... I have to chuckle to myself when I see how much he's changed in appearance since my first drawing of him here.
In personality, he's almost exactly the same though.
Perfect for the #100ThemesChallenge theme 12 of V4, Confusion.

I swear I thought this was traditionally drawn until I realised the colouring looked a bit too smooth in the eyes, that's the sole thing that gave this away as being digital at first glance. This is fantastically drawn, I'm especially impressed with the fur. You draw enough of the hairs to give the illusion of Soap's incredible fluffiness while not over-detailing anything, which is great. The colouring and shading looks very soft, and the blending with the lineart somewhat gives everything a very gentle look, for want of a better word--very suiting to Soap's nature in my eyes. The only thing I could say that bothers me is the outlines on his claws are a bit jarring in their dark colour in comparison to the lighter fur around them... I think making the lineart lighter there would remedy that, but it's only a small detail.
Excellent work though. You almost had me fooled that you drew this with some bizarrely fantastic marker/pencil combination, but seeing it's digital certainly shows how much you've improved with Photoshop, and at such a great pace. I adore the design of Soap, and his expression is adorable if he's confused about something. c:

Thank you so much! That fur took, well, a very long time. This picture was a huge learning experience for me as I worked on it, but I think this is the first time I've really made something I was happy with. I was hoping this picture would really encompass who Soap is as a character through body language and expression in general, I'm delighted the drawing has that feel. I see what you mean about the claws, too, I may try tweaking that soon. c:

Oh, thanks so much! I always have a bit more trouble getting this character's anatomy right compared to any of my other ones, I think all the fur throws me off sometimes. XD
