Title: My thoughts during every attempt at drawing a "classic" cyclops.
It's a woman with one eye who cares?
Not to say I don't like cyclopes! *Rollyjoger has many examples of awesome original ones.
~robocrat 's suggestion was to make a cyclops businesswoman, and I thought the idea was cute. But I was sooo bored I couldn't draw her.
In one sketch she turned into a scientist pouring a vial into a beaker and behind her I drew this one eyed girl clearly freaking out and trying to warn her not to.
I... didn't like that sketch, but I figured it would be a lot more fun to draw a more monstrous one eyed critter.
So here's assistant girl! I set her up in the last hour and a half, sketch to finish... <_<
I did wonder why she still looked so surprised in this image, free of her imminent... explosion or whatever, but then I smacked a fruitfly and it landed and died right where her eye is looking, so...
She's kinda cute. Made me remember an old monster species I have! <:
The funny nudibranch-esque head-dealies and wrinkly stomach, alongside the clothing and accessories were put due to BOREDOOOM.
Actually I really like her. I think her name shall be Evelyn and she'll be an unfortunately appointed receptionist with people issues. c8

And I thought I was the only one that found cyclops to be a bit on the boring side. I'm glad to know I'm not alone in that thinking either! But I have to admit that you definitely gave this cyclops a nice spin on the normal, everyday ones. But I should know that anything you draw or write, will have heart and soul within them. That's why I love seeing your work and love commenting some much. ♥

She's nice enough, just very... jumpy, and with a tendency to get a bit fixated on things that don't make much sense to anyone else. She shares an apartment with Chipu right next to Hell and its connected prison, so I could imagine that brings up her nerves a bit. cx
And, yeah, cyclops are just... mehhh... but I do love that this girl came out of it, even if I'm still trying to figure out a proper name for her. Maybe Evelyn or Miranda... heh.
And that means a ton, I do try to put my heart and soul into what I do, in an even more literal sense (at least when it comes to the soul part!) when it comes to my characters. Thanks so much. ♥
