*No, I'm not thrilled with how this one cuts off, either. It seems no paper will ever be big enough with ears like that.
So... how to explain this... it's a Valentine's picture!
But, the 'love' is a twisted sort. On Cadence's side, it is... more like reverence, adulation for the being she has grown to see as a source of strength, support (mentally... and even physically, in this case, as she's being lifted up,) and a form of interaction that wasn't immediately harmful.
And on Chain's side, well... he sees Cadence as a source of strength, as well. But in a more immediate, less poetic manner.
...It's amazing how much I dislike writing my ideas. Mostly because they all tend to suck. Particularly when my brain cannot find words, like right now.
So... this is for theme 65 of the #100ThemesChallenge variation 4, too.

This is my favorite two characters. I love how different they are but how uniquely they are in need of one another. It makes a great sexy story in my views. Bwahahaha! If I could and IF I would! I got this weird scenario in my head.. Where I got a character sneaking behind him and trips over his tails but ends up choking him by locking her arms around his neck. But she does it with love! xD

Thank you very much! I messed around with pencils and gel pen for that glow. Lately I've been wondering a bit more about the appropriate way to shade Chain, since he's a sort of shadow entity anyhow. So I've been trying a few different techniques. c:

many things, very first is why is her skin cut open.

To put it simply, she's in the possession of a rather twisted person who wants to test the limits of her as a living thing...
