The Red LadyI did this as a request done for a friend. Her favorite antagonist from A Song of Ice and Fire- Melisandre.
Done with colored pencils and water colors. Adjustments and textures done in photoshop.

This is so stunning! First of all, I absolutely adore pieces where tons of hair is the subject and this one is no exception! I just love the flowing waves of hair here that give the piece such movement! The strands are just magnificent and the color choice is so beautiful!! Her face is simply gorgeous! I love the softness of the blush in her cheeks and the beautiful shape of her eyes! Really incredible work here!
