I like this kind of relationship between heroes and the Antagonist. Bosses like King Dedede and Bowser (and for a third-party example Eggman) actually care for the rivals because of the challenge they provide them. Not so with Ganondorf, he just wants Link dead

Yeah, same here. Him and Escargoon were the best part of the show. I love the banter they both had (even if most of it was really bad puns).
I know that Southern!Dedede was a joke against George Bush but I doubt kids are going to know that anyway. Heck, just not have him say any "bushisms" like "Weapons of mass destruction" or something and boom. And yeah, Kirby isn't exactly known for it's gripping story and voice acting but it's something at least. It's not like Nintendo is short on dough, those amiibos are making a killing.

Fair enough, I would just be a bit happier if somebody else did the dubbing of Kirby: Right back at Ya. Like The Ocean Group (the group responsible for the VA of MLP) but keep Dedede's voice.
I don't want this to turn into a political debate, I just think that some people will probably think a G.W character would be a bit redundant. It did work well for him.

Yeah, but only for the show if they decide to redub it. I'm still not impressed with Nightmare's voice from the show. It really didn't fit him personally.
They could even expand on the show, make more episodes focusing on more elements from the games (Dark Matter, Super Star/Super Star Ultra, Return to Dreamland, Rainbow Curse).

Glad you agree. I had(and still do) a dvd from the show, it was called Cook Kirby or something similar. I watched it so much. They are probably the reason I main Dedede in smash, so many good memories.

Dedede's a beast in Smash anyway and I think I know what episode you're talking about but I forgot the name.
I heard he was a jab at him, but let's be honest, nobody cared really.
Sakuri himself played Dedede in Smash but Kirby's VA played him in Triple Deluxe. Still don't know why they gave him weird noises though. At least other series (like Zelda) has some of the characters speaking in text. Heck, Magolor spoke in text as well.
I'm impatiently waiting for King Dedede to come out. I think next week.

Mario, Kirby, Dedede and the Capt are my mains with either Pac Man or Meta Knight in some situations.
Only Sakuri understands his logic. I figured he probably thought it would be easier.
I only want Dedede really. Funny how one episode of Right Back at Ya had him trying to get his hands on figures (with Meta's being rare) much like the amiibos.

Of yeah I completely forgot about my boy mario. When I was first learning the controls and I only had the demo, I played with him all the time. Sweet! All of them fully respectable, I really dont know a whole lot of kirby mains. A few of my peeps play falcon, and I am really the only one who plays dedede. I also have alt mains, including little mac, zero suit, and wii fit.
So agree with that. With all of his work he put into it, its no big deal at all. Except well two things.
1.) No masked dedede at all. I thought this could have been a thing.
2.) Kinda upset over no K.rool, but thats me.

Same with me. I loved the heck out of Triple Deluxe, and I was surprised that it was not it. But pleasantly suprised. The dedede burst is soo much better than the comical army attack from brawl.
