Description
Okay, so it's not exactly fantabulously amazing, but I don't draw this stuff that often and it's better than half the crap I've posted here in the past, so it'll do...I like the old space marine armour with the beak... mark 7 or whatever it was. Looks cooler than the silly squished D: face XD
What's up with the purple wispy shit? I dunno. I put some smoky stuff on that crude pistol, and then kinda went nuts and put it everywhere else too. Hey, even servants of the Emperor get to pose and look cool in nonsensical surroundings every now and again.
Meh. It was a good sketch to start with, I swear.
Oh, and yeah, I somehow doubt this is Aryn with her helmet on. Fear not, though, I'm sure normal service (read: cute busty girls) will be resumed shortly.
Hey, this pic looks way better as a thumbnail o.o

Kind of looks like Deadpool decided to crawl into a Space Marine suit. "I'm here to kickass and chew bubblegum... and I'm all out of bubblegum."

lol, Orkz always call Space marine Beakiez (or that's how me and a good number of Ork players call em) I like calling them Beakiez especially when others don't know why (I try to explain it in an Orky way)
Anyway it's good work, Plasma pistol gives you cool points

Hahahaha ace, i like that you've gone for the slim design of the original space marine plastic models from the rogue trader days, instead of the extremely large style of the present.
Nice to see that someone remembers those days!

Really liking the picture, definitely adding it to my favourites !
Mk6 Corvus Armour definitely has "character", the nickname of "Beakie Armour" was the name given by the Orks for this particular type and it has stuck with players ever since really as a nickname.

if I could just say something...
it may be because in the older versions of 40k the orks used the term beakies and chaos beakies (spikey boys as well) to describe space marines and chaos marines
or it may just be because it has a beak like component and it's a "cute" (if space marines can be described as such) nickname

Mk6 is the beaky xD
Either way, faved for the beaky

I really like this pic. My only gripe with it is that it looks more realistic than the models and official art has. This is a good thing, but I guess it technically counts as a gripe. I like it a lot!

to Dukeleto: The corvus armour do not necessarily need to have the left Shoulder pad, as the suit is backwards compatible with older mark 4-5 suits AND the newer Aquila/Imperator mark 7.
To Bogbrush4ever3: I might be wrong in this, but i seem to recall an official GW text, that states that the enzymes and extra heart lungs etc are incompatible with the female body, with it's special hormones and such.
I might be wrong, but i'm pretty sure of it.

I miss the old armors from the rogue trader days. I think they have some of the old designs as additional parts in the space marine tactical squad sets though.

It is acutally possible. One of the missing primarchs could be a female, thus meaning that the geneseed would allow for a female marine legion

Space marines with a beakhelmet look more like a scout or specialist unit to me. Quite cool considering that the beakhelmet don't include a voice-changer which makes the marines voice brutal and frightning when they cry out their battlecry, they better suit situations like the ones mentioned earlier^^
Oh by the way, Aryn probably would use a bigger gun if it was her. Because Warhammer 40K: Size DOES matter! XD

I reckon they should be used by assault marines... because then they could impale their enemies on the beak, clearly.
Okay, maybe not

I think you're being a bit overly critical of your work... I'm not seeing those problems, personally. It's a great, dynamic shot, everything looks to be in perspective and the forms are good. I like the dramatic lighting you've chosen, too.

Nice work on the armor. I really like the concept behind the mask too. Looks really imposing. The shading on the image isn't half bad either. The shading is also very spot on. For the most part I like this image! Keep up the good work!
On a side note though, it may just be me, but the gun he is holding in his right hand (the one witht he clip) looks a little off skew, just ever so slightly. I'm pretty sure you're already aware of this though, seeing as how you drew it and all... lol

You're totally right about the wonky gun... I think it was better in the sketch, but because I went a bit nuts with the colouring and went over the lines in places, it doesn't look quite as right any more. XD
Not that it was perfect in the first place :3;;
Still, thanks. I can't take much credit for teh concept though, since someone else made these guys...
