I got a bit tired of Ria's perpetually changing armour, so... I changed her outfit entirely. Oops.I think I like it better this way. I intended to give her some actual metallic stuff for protection, but it didn't seem to fit very well. I guess she could wear it underneath all the cloth, but it doesn't really look like it.
Having no armour kinda wrecks her "2nd best armour in the game" status in Mittens.

Sometime after I made this picture, miss hira did a doodle of this character in the same outfit but with armour underneath. I ended up liking that design better, and there's a sketch based on that around in my stuff somewhere... so her armour did eventually reappear after all!

Hmm.. maybe her clothes could be some sorta ΓΌber-cloth, armor-weave thingy? And her sword is way too short, with a hand-and-a-half handle like that, it should probably be at least half a foot longer, methinks.

Well, in Final Fantasy they have some damn strong cloth armor for mages, maybe it's some of that.
Very nice design though. Much better than the armor she had on in a "back to back" pose image I remember from some years ago.

Chainmail has always been a favorite for "under armor" It is lighter then Plate, and protects better then leather... which can way about the same!

if you don't like the plate stuff. Use chainmail or chain nail... what ever it is called. With it it can show the curves of her body easer and can go under what she has on.

On a side not, I do like how you gave her a full set of clothes rather then the usual female armour kit that really doesn't protect much of anything at all, including modesty.

i always liked using Ria in the first metal mittens because of her second highest melee ability. She was well balanced in ranged spell attacks and melee.
her boots got bigger.
i know you like Ria with glasses, and while i think she's cute with glasses, i prefer her without them when she is in her combat garb.

In the book Sabriel, the main character gets clothes with the armour plates sewn into them, so they look like normal clothes, but aren't really. Also, I think they might have been ceramic rather than metal, but I can't remember.

Well, rather than "armor", it could be "armor class." She just has groovy dexterity and constitution scores!
