It's been a while, and I thought it was about time I drew something kinda mushy again. However, I kinda wanted to avoid all the (probably justified) cries of "geez, cloud, why are you drawing stupid sentimental pics featuring yourself so much?!", along with dodging the threat of becoming all samey and predictable and stuff.

...well, that and the fact that most of my other mush-induced ideas are kinda awkward to figure out how to draw.

Soooo, I thought I'd draw some different cloud-and-hira characters being all clingy and cuddly instead. I spent a little while trying to think of some good ones, but opted to play it safe and recycle some that've paired up in the past (I don't recall showing them off much, but I do know I put them in my book... shameless plug woo) rather than try to do anything terribly clever and unexpected and pick new ones ("Hey sir, I don't think Rhino and Serus are really suitable for each other")

This is getting overly ramble-ish, so I'll wind up.

The girl is Chehalis, who is an old hira character and happens to be some kind of crazy basilisk girl. Since I didn't find any good reference until AFTER I'd drawn the picture, her hair is a little off and she's missing a couple of little horns (but I'll just say they're hidden under all that hair). She does have her tail, at least, which is why the sheet looks like that (i.e. she doesn't just have a funny shaped bum).

The guy is... some fairly vague character I made up to go with her. I don't think he ever even got a name, poor guy. I never was that good with names. He could do with being made a bit more of an interesting individual, but this didn't seem like a good time to be doing it. Maybe later!
