I've been... painfully mushy lately, and it's been even worse (or better?) over the past day or two (which isn't all that surprising). Rather than spend all day daydreaming about snuggly stuff and drawing a bunch of random unrelated things, I figured I'd combine the two and use my immense powers of mushiness for the greater good of mankind by drawing hot hot hugging action. Or something.What can I say about it from an artsy point of view? Nothing interesting, really. Kinda happy with the faces, in particular the eyes, because eyes tend to be horrible evil things that I can never quite get right. I like it as a whole, but I'm pretty biased and will probably not like it so much in a few weeks (or days?) time... or maybe I will, given the subject matter. Who knows.
Any resemblence to actual persons or events is purely coincidental, as it's totally not supposed to be me and miss hira cuddling up. Honest. Well, maybe...
And hey, I only missed Valentine's Day by a month or so.

To me it looks like they're lying down, albeit a little awkwardly. It's not quite a hug yet, but it's gonna be an awesome one when they get right up close! so cute!

Nice work - but, when I look at his arms, i get the impression that he's trying to stop her from hugging him rather than him trying to bring her closer. The faces look nice, and it looks like they want to hold one another, but their posture looks wrong somehow.
She looks like she's standing about a foot away from him and leaning into him. His right hand doesn't look natural.
Ack - It's a good picture - anatomy spot on and all that. I'm not being too horrible am i? It's way better than I could do. 0_o;

That's really warm. It's such a nice picture to just sit and look at even though it is quite simple. As you said their faces are the best and they do look like they are very affectionately looking into each other's eyes, the guy especially.
If this is meant to be your likeness, does this mean you've cut your hair and the lady has had your name tattooed on her arm? (Just kidding about the tattoo question there)

I have been in a magical world of not-drawing-very-much. Been a bit better recently though.
And yes, my hair all got cut off when I went to visit "the lady", as you call her... she liked it better short :3

Do you like it better short? I've only seen 'you' in one of your previous pictures you drew of the two of you and you had very long hair in that, was it not difficult to cut off so many years of growth? Still, you two seem so very much in love that if she asked for it, I doubt you considered it for a second. Move the world...

I was pretty indifferent about it... it got in the way and took ages to wash, and I only let it get long because I am extraordinarily lazy. I was more worried about having some stranger wash my hair (because I get really nervous about water and stuff... it's a long story) before it got chopped off, but... yeah, definitely worth it.
It's getting to the stage where I should probably get it trimmed again now. Maybe I should pop over again... ;3
