Nina from Breath of Fire... 2, I think, I'm not sure - I've not played them
I was trying something a little different with the colours, but the end result is much the same as my usual cel stuff it seems, so it was a bit of a waste of time. Still... nothing ventured, nothing gained, as they say.

This is without a doubt the best in the BOF series! I can't believe the 1,3,and all others sucked SOOOO bad that they shouldn't even be called Breath of Fire games!!! It REALLY pisses me off!! I sure hope someone on here can tell the game people how bad thier games SUCK!!

I played both Breath of Fire and 2 for a while but I don't think I came across her...

Are you sure you played the right games because she was definitely one of the main characters and she's essential to the story so you can't really not come across her.
Aside from that, amazing picture. Nicely done. I like the wings and the way her clothes drape over her.

This truly is the greatest Nina picture. But her wings don't have that bluesh hue, they're black. Yes, it is Nina from Breath of Fire II. You should play them! They are not only for Snes but GameBoy Advance. I have both I & II!!

As the breath of fire series goes on, why is it that windians (Nina's race) lose the ability to turn into birds and fly? Shame really, It makes getting aroung the map a great deal easier 
Anyway, great art, I cant actually draw cos I dont go on ths site, just fooling around on my mate's acount

*SPOILER ALERT*
The reason Windians/Wyndians/Fae/whatever are losing the ability to fly is because, after the events of the original game, the Nina of Breath of Fire I marries the Ryu of that game, and this causes their bloodline to be diluted over time, which means they lose much of their power. That's why.
Though I still can't say I understand why suddenly getting Brood DNA in your race's bloodline would cause you to lose the ability to fly, since Brood can fly when they transform, right? Maybe something about the Brood flight gene and the Fae flight gene are incompatible...? Who knows, all I know is that you do find out late in BoFII that Nina I marrying Ryu I was the reason why Wyndians lost the ability to fly.
