Description
The title doesn't really fit the picture, but it popped into my head and amused me (and maybe I'll explain why in a bit...)

This was a sketch that I ended up liking enough to want to finish off - the original sketch itself should be hidden away in my scraps somewhere. Someone (sorry, forgot your name... shameful!) sent me a note suggesting I should draw Aryn, and I was getting that impression myself after flicking through some of my old art and finding at least one of the Aryn pics to be one of my favourites. So... yeah, I drew her in a generic sitting-down pose, and then figured it might be a good idea to draw her something to sit on... and since she's into guns and stuff, and since I have a strange fixation with tanks, I thought that would be a good setting.

The colours are a bit of an experiment, haven't tried anything quite like this before. I hope it turned out okay. I did a quick plan for the colourings at the start, before I really got stuck in, and they looked promising enough at the time to convince me to do it properly. Looking at them now, they look hilariously bad... funny XD

The name "Tank Attack!" (can't have exclamation marks in dA picture titles) originates from my childhood. When I was about 8 or so I made a (bad) boardgame at school. It had something to do with players controlling little tanks that had to overcome some obstacles while trying to blow each other up. I was a strange kid and used to like making boardgames, which is something I'd kinda forgotten about until just now - I remember cutting out lots and lots of 2cm square bits of card and painstakingly drawing pictures on them to use as playing pieces, so maybe that's where my artsiness comes from. Anyway, I remember playing the game with some of my friends and losing quite convincingly, and I remember throwing an enormous hissy fit over it because I was (and still am, to an extent) an absolutely horrible sore loser. So yeah. This is all irrelevant rambling, but it's funny to remember it and embarrass myself.
