Description
"At last! Finally the lamp is mine again!" Shouted Merlock.
Finally he was holding in his hands the object he had searched for so many centuries; the magical lamp, stolen to him by the thief Collie Baba.
After centuries of searching the Immortal wizard finally located the hiding place of the powerful object.
Collie Baba was sure able to find an excellent place for hiding the lamp; a great pyramid, filled with deadly traps. And, if that wasn’t enough, in the centuries the pyramid was buried under the sands of the desert. The wizard would have been probably searched forever if he didn’t had the luck of finding an ancient map written by Collie Baba that explained the position of the pyramid.
The many deadly traps of the pyramid were nothing more than a mere nuisance for the wizard; by using his amulet Merlock had took the shape of a rat and he was easily able to avoid all the traps and reaching the treasure chamber.
Merlock had shifted away carelessly the gold and the precious gems for he had no interest into mortal treasures; the lamp was his real and only interest. And finally it was there, once more in his hands.
The wizard started to rub the lamp with a greedy look on his muzzle and with a blast of light and smoke the Genie appeared.
The Genie appeared with a happy look on his face but his expression turned into pure horror and fear when he saw who was his master once more.
"Merlock?! Oh no, not again!"
"Why, Genie! You hurt me! And to think that I searched for you for so long!" Replied Merlock chuckling evilly amused.
If there was anyhing that amused Merlock that was to see the constant grief of the Genie, always forced to obey his master's commands, no matter how cruel they were.
"Please Merlock, please, I beg you, don't.."
"Relax, my friend! You'll have nothing to fear from now on!" Replied Merlock while with one hand he removed his magical amulet from his neck and placed it on the lamp. His amulet, combined with the lamp would have grant Merlock infinite wishes instead of the normal three wishes.
"I have decided to take some precautions from now on. No one will ever be able to steal the lamp from me anymore!" he declared!
Genie gulped, that didn't sound good at all.
"If anybody will try to steal the lamp he will have to face me first! And I am going to be sure of making this an impossible quest!" He continued "So Genie, my first wish is to become the strongest warrior on earth."
"Oh my! This is bad!" Mumbled the genie sadly. He would have refused if that would have been possible but it wasn't.
His hands started to move against his will and after some gestures he zapped Merlock with a blue ray, closing his eyes out of fear.
Merlock started to laugh while he felt a powerful energy running through his veins; his body started to change immediately. His arms and chest started to bulk up, muscles swelling rapidly and in the meantime his waist, normally fat and round, become thinner and more defined, with abs popping out from his paunch.
When the process was completed Merlock flexed his arms, feeling his immense strength.
At the same time he noticed that his clothing was now unfitting to his new appearance; his rich wizard robes were ripped around his chest and arms and at the same time they were hanging down from his waist that wasn't fat anymore
"Give me some new clothes genie! Not like the ones I used! I want clothes that allows my might to be understood. And also a mirror" he ordered
Genie sadly snapped his fingers; immediately a shirtless rob of dark color appeared instead of the old clothes and a giant mirror appeared from nowhere. Merlock looked down at his body and he was satisfied. His new clothes showed his immense built and at the same time they inspired a feeling of limitless power that he liked. "Yes Genie! You have done well!"
"Oh wonderful! I am glad you are satisfied master! Now if that is all..." replied Genie, with a frightened voice
"It isn't!" Replied Merlock "along with my wish of being the strongest warrior on this world, I also want to be the most powerful wizard of this world!"
"NO!" Replied Genie, horrified "Not even this!" That wish, along with the other, would have really made impossible for anyone to steal the lamp. And that was Genie only hope of being freed from Merlock's control.
"This is my wish Genie! Obey!!!" Shouted Merlock.
Genie covered his eyes (he couldn't stand to watch that faithful moment!)
Immediately Merlock felt an immense power surging through his veins. The power was so great that for a moment he was almost scared by it, fearing that he couldn't control it. But it was a short living fear.
He looked at his enormous hands and he concentrated; a red glowing aura surrounded his hands.
The wizard kept his concentration and a small glowing globe appeared, floating between his hands. Merlock focused his will and energy toward the globe and it immediately started to grow, glowing threateningly.
Fast as a whip, despite his immense bulk, the wizard made a twist throwing the globe at the massive wall right behind him.
There was a massive explosion and a huge part of the wall was disintegrated, like if it had been made of sand!
Merlock boasted into one of his maniacal and cruel laughs.
"Mwhahahahaaa! Yes! Now nobody in this world will be able to defeat me! No one shall ever be able to steal the lamp from me again!!!"
The Genie was sobbing miserably; Merlock was saying the truth. And he would have been forced to serve the evil wizard's wishes forever.
"Come come now, Genie!" Said Merlock with a fake gentle voice.
"You have done enough for now. You can have some rest."
"R.... really...?" Replied Genie, with relief. At least, he would have been spared from other wishes at least for a little.
"But of course!" Replied Merlock with an evil grin. "In your lamp of course"
Normally Genie would have been horrified by the order of turning back into his lamp but as long as that meant of staying away from Merlock it was ok for him. So with a flash he disappeared.
Merlock observed the lamp for a moment; he had allowed the Genie to go back because with his newfound powers he was already powerful enough to satisfy many of his own wishes. As for the lamp he would have taken it to a safe place and used them only in special occasion.
He removed his amulet from the top of the lamp and hid the last one into a pocket of his robe. He was then about to blast a way out of the pyramid when he realized that the pyramid was already an excellent hiding place for the lamp.
So he placed back the lamp on the top of the treasure. Then, levitating a few feet from the ground Merlock returned to the entrance of the pyramid and in the meantime the wizard placed many powerful protective spells, ensuring that no one would have ever be able to access the pyramid.
Finally coming out from the pyramid Merlock sealed the entrance.
Then the wizard raised his arms while his eyes started to glow; winds started to blow first lightly then more and more strongly until they turned into a powerful sand storm!!!
Merlock focused the fury of the storm on the pyramid, burying it under tons of sand effectively cancelling any trace of the construction. Only he would have been able to find the pyramid and uncover it.
Merlock remained for some moments still, observing the results of his display of power. And yet the wizard felt that he used nothing but a miserable portion of his real power!!
And now his evil mind was already working, filled with dark dreams of absolute power over any land and country.
"Very soon all this world will bow at me and tremble at my power."
The wizard declared, filled with excitement and greed.
He could already picture himself in a palace of gold and silver, worshiped like the ... like the... like the GOD he was!

Merlock is definitely one of my favourite Disney villains.
However I always thought that if I would have been him I would have asked to the genie more powers since his only real power in the movie were his shape shifting abilities (that were only given to him by his amulet) and his immortality.
So I got this idea! Hope you liked it!
