► PERSONAL INFO
Personality:
[+Outgoing]
Dimitri is the definition of a 'social butterfly.' He is always smiling, and is can be considered a joy to be around. The life of the party, so to speak. He always willing to be the one to make the first move, to greet new people and make new friends. He also has knack for making others feel just as welcome, and being able to see when someone isn't as well versed in socializing and he is. True to his species, he really does seem like a rainbow to brighten up your day. He loves conversation and gossip, and can go on and on once he does start talking. You really will have a good time with him around, for sure.
[+Intelligent]
From anything to his various tutors to traveling around the world, the bird actually has a really good head on his shoulders. He's capable of retaining large amounts of information and loves to share his wealth of knowledge. Whether he's asked or... not. He may come off as a bit of a know it all at times. But his intentions are always good and loves to teach others. While his interests have shifted gears over the years, he's still a big learner. If he's not shopping or putting together a cute outfit, he's probably at the library taking out books. He doesn't listen to music, he listens to audio books.
[=Flirty]
He's a bit of a flirt, like, a big flirt. He loves to compliment others and make silly pick-up lines. And he loves the attention this kind of interaction gives him in return. While most of it usually harmless and he's not exactly interested in any kind of long term relationship, little flings or otherwise he usually tends to get himself involved in. He doesn't get attached, and he's just in it for the fun. Nothing he ever says or does is serious on this subject. He's just a very playful, flirty bird. However, he's not afraid to tell you no if he doesn't have any interest in you. He's a bit... picky.
[=Observant]
The bird is always aware of his surroundings. Always taking in the sights, the sounds, the smells. And while most of the time he enjoys all the sights, at times... he doesn't. If he see's something wrong, he tries to fix it. He's a bit judgmental when it comes to others and their attire, always nitpicking what others wear. If he feels like his advice could help your sense of style, he is not afraid to make a remark about it. This is usually met with mixed reactions, some appreciate his help... most get annoyed with his constant need for his definition of 'perfection.' As his sense of style does tend to vary from the average 'mon.
[-Irresponsible]
He's never been very good when it came to taking care of things. Sure he's smart, but that's book smarts. He doesn't have much 'common sense' so to speak. He'll probably spend all his money on clothes, and not pay those bills. He'll probably buy clothes and frivolous things over food. Probably not a good idea for him to have something, or someone, to take care of... he might forget about them. Could blame the way he was raised. Everything was given to him on a silver platter, and he never had to take care of things himself. So he honestly doesn't know how to do things on his own. So he usually just puts it off until someone helps him or steers him in the right direction.
[-Scatterbrained]
In his mind, he's got everything in order. But in reality... he doesn't. He's a mess. His belongings will always be scattered around everywhere. He's not very good at cleaning, nor organizing. He always had others that did that kind of stuff for him. And even then, his 'organized' is his own. It probably looks like a mess but ask him where something is and he'll probably find it immediately. Probably. There are times where he can completely misplace something and it will be gone forever. He can remember the details written in the book but... he'll probably loose the book. This normally wouldn't be such a problem if he wasn't such a hoarder, always getting new things. And then not having enough space for said things.

Backstory:
Kings and Queens were a far more common site in the days of old. Tales of magnificent and powerful Pokemon ruling over their lands. These beings were rare and majestic creatures, and in some cultures viewed as gods. Protecting their subjects and their kingdoms.
These were the kinds of tales that were passed down in Dimitri's family. That they were the descendants of some old monarchs, from somewhere in Asia. The details were always fuzzy, and seemed to get more and more skewed with each generation. Whether the tales were true or not, no one really quite knew. But no one really tried to question the word of their ancestors. Given this supposed status, his family was always high on the social ladder. Politicians, doctors, lawyers, celebrities. Any of those careers that gave them a sort of 'power' or position above others, they were in. Dimitri's parents were no different, and enjoyed to travel the world in their off time.
And when they did this, they of course took Dimitri along. From a young age the bird became very used to their private jet. This is where he lived most of the time, it seemed. They were always hopping from country to country. Living in new places, before jumping on the jet and going elsewhere. He didn't really mind, but he did wish his parents payed attention to him more. As you can imagine, they were very social. Everytime they went anywhere it was a big deal to anyone of importance. Always invited to big parties, to meet politicians, kings, queens, lords. It all varied wherever they went.
This was one thing Dimitri did like. At these fancy parties, when his parents or his tutors weren't watching him... he could run off and explore on his own. He was always back before anyone noticed. It was nice for the small bird just get away from all the 'mon. It was on one of these trips where he met another young legend. When some Lord or some sort in India heard they were there, he had to invite them. They happily obliged, being invited to the man's mansion. It was the same deal he'd gotten used too. Being led around, having the 'mon show off his belongings and riches. Something the bird had... gotten rather used too. It wasn't hard to escape from them. Running off to explore the massive palace on his own.
He was surprised when he came across an open door, and inside sat a golden colored 'mon. One he did not recognize, but she seemed to be around his age. Though, he did remember the man going on and on about showing them his 'goddess child.' Was this her? She didn't seem any different from any other 'mon. At least to the young avian. She seemed to be just as surprised by his presence as her. Though, Dimitri was always more outgoing as he immediately introduced himself to her. How his parents had always taught him to do so when meeting new 'mon. It seemed the both, given their circumstances, clicked quite well. And spent much of that day together. Of course eventually goodbyes came, and the two were very sad. But promised they'd meet again one day! They exchanged two little 'friendship' bracelets, so they wouldn't forget each other.
That... was some years ago. The bird kept the little bracelet, wearing it around his ankle so he wouldn't forget. And he didn't. He had gotten the idea to go back and visit, but life never allowed the chance. He was constantly busy with his family, socializing, studies. All of it in place to make sure that he had the most successful future he could have. And to make sure his family name stayed strong. He had to keep up appearances.
Given his... talents and eccentric nature, he had decided to go to fashion school in London. It would be another industry his family's name would come to dominate, and they were all for it. With their approval he was off. And... for awhile the bird put on a facade that he enjoyed it. That it was 'him.' But after a a year or so... he just couldn't take it anymore. All the years of expectations came crashing down on him and he had a sort of mental breakdown. He up and dropped out of the school. Neither telling his parents or his peers as he went off to be by himself for awhile. Eventually he did have to talk to his family, they threatened to cut him off for what he did. But he managed to convince them otherwise, that he just needed some time on his own. He still had his own money so he wasn't completely dependent on them, thankfully. He just needed to... find himself.
It was sometime during all this that he heard a shrill scream in the distance. He rushed to it's location, wondering what it could be and if the person in question needed help. The sight he was greeted by was a surprising one. A huge, lumbering monster hunched over a body. He reeled back in disgust. He had self-defensive training, his parents had insisted on it while he grew up... but nothing could prepare him to fight this beast. Suddenly the monster lunged at another bystander, and in an instant it seemed she had taken the monster down. Leaving behind his dark, evil soul.
The bird quickly went to the taller 'mons side. Asking and insisting if she was okay, what had happened, where did that monster come from! Though it seemed as though his questions went unanswered as even she didn't know. It was in that instant though, that it seemed the two remembered each other. This was his childhood friend from before. And that monster... now that the bird thought about it... he looked familiar as well. He saw how her body had transformed, and everything made sense to him. It took a bit of explanation, but he knew enough about Shibusen, Souls, and Demon Weapons to understand what happened. He had a phase as a child where he wished to become one of them. Suffice it to say the tutor who had let him read a book on this was quickly terminated. Though, the reason behind the tutors interest in teaching these things were never revealed to his parents. The bird was afraid to tell them, but at a fairly young age he realized he could see the souls of others. Faintly, he wasn't very good at it, but it was fact he revealed to that teacher, and the teacher did his best to educate him before being removed from his life.
Even after that he never told his parents why he had interest in it. Afraid they'd think something was wrong with him, or put down his 'talent.' But it was something that was always in the back of his mind.
Maybe this is what the bird had wanted... needed to do.

Extra:
- He only wears his heels as a fashion statement, and yes they are rather uncomfortable but no one said looking fabulous was easy. He does not wear them on missions however. Especially since wings aren't very adequate for wielding a weapon, his talons are far dexterous.
- With both his Regenerator ability and having the move Recover... he can be surprisingly resilient in a fight.
- Fluent in several languages.
- Given his families 'history' they always had a habit of calling the kids 'prince/princesses'. And not just out of endearment. He hates this, don't call him that ever. He tries not to acknowledge his heritage.
- ROHI CARRY HIM S A VE H I M THERE IS DIRT ;A; Dimitri yOU CAN FLY. >:C
- Still has the friendship bracelet Rohi gave him when they were little, usually wears it around his ankle when he does.
- Voiced by Gary Oldman as Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2.
- He's an old character from an old group, you can see his old app and art here.
