This minions also belongs to the trading card game Rivalry in progress~Elm men are vile corrupted treefolk summoned from the darkened forest territory to fight alongside the dark legion due to their natural regeneration and fiersome exteriorenjoy~i wil provide some detail shots of its face soon~and some other parts~this pic is a minimized version(as with all my other works!) comms and crits appreciated~

I love that! I have absolutely no idea about these games, but I love fantasy/sci fi and I love the tree dude! He doesn't look too happy about the light though! very cool!

he's a scary lookin treefolk! X3 the detail is simply amazing dude... the texture on the bark, the face... just WOW. It's such an interesting take, too. I've never seen tree people done this way before!

It succeeds in many senses: as an RPG item, as an imaginative and imagination-invoking peice, as a comic book element, and more. However, if you want to go for the "art" label, I'd obscure more, make it darker on one side, accentuate the shadows. Let the mind's eye describe the corrupted, animated, wood creature. But could you sell that as-is? Absolutely.
