Happy Halloween Guys and gals!~well it might be abit early lol~but tis my treat~ehhe~Azu is half inspired by halloween and the idea of somethin nasty lurkin in the jungle~there's also a tinge of inspiration from Veerapan the Indian Bandit who jus died not long ago hehe~
when i did this i was also thinkin of sometin nasty and lame- somethin tat would kill tarzan of Disney~ lol
a lil info about It/him~
Azu lives in Stenja jungle,his creator abandoned him after some experiment and disasters, Azu is very intelligent,he loves to hunt animals and those pesky woodcutters and humans~ occasionally he will terrorise some nearby villages for the thrill of it~and maybe leave a carcass or two~Azu considers himself King of the Stenja jungle and is very territorial~ He lives in a homemade shack studying stolen books and knowledge his hunters wont want him to know~Morgorth has been trying to find him~but to no avail~maybe he will finally show his exposed face once and for all now that boredom grew and he is no longer content to live like a primate~yesssss...
Original done in Ps CS everytin ~roughly toook a day~hope yall likes

your lightings control are great. maybe you can improve other parts like Figure anatomy ( or maybe this is your style.) costume design, material, texture.... (I just start to research), knowledge from book (any), perspective, that maybe need some patiences there.
My basic drawing was not good, I just keep praticing recently, because I lov drawing...I think you r same too

lol tats GreaT to hear!~i act started drawing from young!~but has never pick up a good ol anatomy book to read~never thot it was necessary lol(always kept to my style)!~ and recently i started wit colors and found out tat theres lots to learn along wit anatomy too ahah~ yes i simply love drawing haah~and now i got a new found passion for painting heh~

Hmm.. Lets start with my favorite thing ever! Eyes!

aha~lol there's a couple of very good eye tuts on online~gfxartist is one of them~ but if ya relli wanna know how i do them~here goes!
1. Draw out the eye shapes and fill em with base color~
2. darken the upper eyelids til ur happy~and soften the lower eyelids til they look rite~lol
3. add the eyeball in the eye~rem the iris is outlined with a darker tone, and the pupil is darkest cos its sometin like a hole~
4.Shade the EYEBALL with soft darks coz the eyeball is round~and lighten it as it gets near where the light hits~
5. Finally add those highlights which will make the eyes come alive~it is usually at e corner top and bottom,most anime dont care about the light source so they always add them in this format~u should however conform to the lightin direction~ DO not put in too much highlights lest u wan them to look glassy super watery ehhe

6. and if u got any other lights and ambient light in e bg u can also apply them in thin streaks across the eye~usually tis is at e lower part of e eyes~
ok tats it!~hope u dun get confused~and tis is jus one of the ways i do my eyes~i learnt some info from lookin at pros and photos too~hope tis will help~
