Description
Just like BA disguised as Clayton , this thing was made with Fabulous Ponymaker Trick or Treat (that you cannot find anywhere but here for the time being www.mylittleponygames.biz/game… just hope this website doesn`t shut it down as well).This was majorly made because I wished to compare my vision of NLR-style armor with Sharps in Lab Armor and to persuade Lt-Colonel-Sharpy that his armor is nothing similar to one when compared to my actual vision of NLR armor, which you can see here. Of course, being a Necromancer and a practitioner of Night/Dark Magic, Midnight Magic has got to get her own specific NLR armor that betray her as being both the "wizard" of the group and still being kind of similar to the rest of NLR troops she`s in. And let me tell you, no one wishes to know what is inside her bag she has at her side~
And yes, the NLR armor I designed for her is made as closely to the vision of the Solar Eclipse as possible, seeing as the NLR mostly revolves of "usurping Princess Celestia for Princess Luna" thing, even though if you usurp one ruler with another ruler, this is still not as much of a republic as it`s supposed to be, thus I consider myself to not be a part of it for them being quite hypocritical as well. Cool armor, but not-so-cool a goal and idea behind it.
For now I don`t know the info/bio about her involvement in NLR, if there would be one, seeing as this is a Nightmare Night setting~

Interesting.
I can't believe I made an NLR OC myself (of course, thanks to a certain artist for bringing him back to life), but I had to so that he could be an essential part in my story.
I even came up with better names for the elite squadrons which will take part in it. I even included the NLR as a terror organization collaborating with Cobra, and I made an ace squadron for them as well: Dybbuk Squadron. (Dybbuk is an evil spirit in Jewish mythology)

I always imagine NLR armor to look something like this - very darkish, very death metal-like (sort of) and that kind of type that anyone would like to wear, even if the said pony is outside NLR altogether, like BA (I can actually see BA being kind of an infiltrator and spy for Equestrian Union as well, only wearing NLR armor to blend herself in until she causes overall mayhem by probably summoning a Geist Queen on their asses or something~ 
Believing you, as for now I kind of think of what relation would Midnight Magic have to Desert Storm in order to be thrown into his war machine (kind of like how males of my nation joined the Nazi army in WW2), but the more I think about it, the more irrelevant it`s becoming, since she could be in a NLR army without him even knowing about her, just like being "another soldier". I only hope that you don`t mistake her for sympathizing with NLR as well, since she`s definitely not one to sympathize with such organization, even if they try to brainwash her into such thing. When it comes to alliances, she is kind of an outsider, being free or all faction allegiances, be it Equestrian Union, Solar Empire or NLR. She just doesn`t care, more being worried in her work than in these matters, as politics aren`t her main interest, which is kind of good, seeing as what Dark Magic did to Crystal Empire ...

But if she doesn't care about the NLR, how can she end up fighting for them? You don't mean she's a mercenary, right?
Truth to be told: I'd love to include OCs of other people, but there are two drawbacks:
- The number could be very high as one might ask me to include five of his/her OCs in the fanfic. I won't be able to squeeze them all in, and I'm pretty sure I can't give them all fair roles. But if only mine are included, I can give secondary roles to them and I'll be happy, but if others' were included, each person will demand me to make a primary role for them, which will be hard on me.
- I know a few people who own god-like OCs with abilities that defy the laws of physics. In this fanfic, I'm trying to reduce magic in exchange of technology. If I included these OVs, it's either be an easy victory for the good side of they are good, or an easy victory for the bad side if they are evil.
See why, sister? I wish I could put BA in, but some people might be jealous, and end up dumping me.

Nah, she isn`t a mercenary. For the story of how did she ended up in NLR, I was thinking something along the lines of a promise of the constant opportunities to broaden her knowledge on how to safely yield Night/Dark Magic and ultimately being used to the point that she actually gets enlisted in NLR in secret (thus the frown on her face) while in reality she more wishes to have her own personal home in a section of the land where she wouldn`t be scorned for using Night/Dark magic on her own (that would be promised by whoever enlisted her in the NLR in secret). And well, once she`s in NLR against her will, then you can expect that her Dark Magic would grow as her negative emotions fuel it up more, thus giving more opportunity for being abused more ... and potentially endanger everyone around themselves, as she`s more of a quiet type of pony. Hope this makes sense in a way ^^
No worries about that, bro, I completely understand even without being told the drawbacks of this, so no need to feel bad or feeling pushed. It`s your fanfic after all and other people should never tell you what to do. I was more speaking about a "what if" scenarios of your fanfic than anything, thus apologies if it didn`t come across that clearly as I wished~

It does make sense. So she was, kinda, conscripted when whoever brought her to the NLR noticed her fond of dark magic, and thought it could be useful to them. How mean of them to take advantage of her negativity! Then again, this is always expected from the NLR.
