Ohh, shoot, no, they are not supposed to. In fact, they're actually very different ;__;

The sashimi you see in the sketches are just chibi versions of the ones I have up for adoption, and according to date, were done waaay before kilara had posted those.

But I guarantee, the creatures really don't look like what you just linked me to. Especially the wings faces tails, and bodies. But I think you may be confused since they both have three crests? though the flytts seem to have 4 or 5

It was just a 'Oh hey look!' comment comparing the crests! I know they're different all in all, I'm not -that- stupid xD

Oh, okies. I was worried XD I really love Kilara, and wouldn't want to hurt her by having something closely resemble something of hers.

Unfortunately I make really lazy fur on my chibis ;; Otherwise the differences would have been more obvious ;;

When I look at that sort of fluff I see it as bulk fluff and then long straggles, but thats just me, floofy fluff is alot more attractive and so much cuter x3

look, just because Kilara is popular doesn't mean she owns anything with three crests. Sashimi look NOTHING like Kilara's flytts :\

lets see the differences:
Sashimi are the size of dogs
Flytts are the size of bugs
Sashimi are fluffy and furry everywhere
Flytts just have fur behind their head and feet
Sashimi are born wingless, and are heavy creatures structure wise
Flytts are born with wings and are light in body structure
Sashimi have furry dog tails
Flytts are modeled after chameleons

Kilara is a wonderful artist, and from what I can tell, a good person. But her fans are really annoying with this theft crap. God, I bet a thousand different creatures look similar when chibified. but why not take a look at them both when they are NOT chibi and tell me again how they are the same:

Actually, Flytt are the size of a cat or small dog :3

I said three crested Sashimi look like Flytt, not Sashimi in general, mainly because of the three creats and following fluff.
If I'd thought Laz was stealing Kilara's Flytt, I would have said so, so stop putting words in my mouth.


I really dont know what to say, this is all very drama-esqu stemming from my one comment!
As for your 'comments like this hurt artists you know' I consider Laz a casual friend and trust her to point out things she see's in my artwork, which I in turn do for her. Mine was a lighthearted comment simply noting the similairties between Three crest Sashimi and Flytt. No need to take it so dramaticly out of context.

Oh, well there were indeed three crested Sashimi in the link I sent you. It was to show how drastically different they are from the side view. I was also pointing out that the fluff on the crest of a sashimi actually protrudes from their crests themselves, not from behind, since the entire creature is fuzzy.

Lets be honest though, a comment like that in public was meant to draw the attention of her watchers into thinking this species was copied off kilara. I just wanted to be sure those watchers knew the facts before they started in as well.

I'm glad you guys are friends and all, but it didn't seem like it from the comment, considering how it came across as laughing at Laz for copying Kilara.
