I meant to finish the pic with alastair's fullbody first but this one was less thought-work so I poked at it during my slow art time recently and then as a sort of warm-up after coming back from my trip and not drawing for a week, so HEY HO it done now ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

head-bumping is a show of intimacy in their culture, like kisses except extended to purely platonic relationships too, as shown here~

their dad will often go "!!!! my B O Y S" and then charge forward to smack their heads together - he tries to be gentle but is a very enthusiastic affectionate man, haha
(I wanna draw both parents sooonn, cause they're both very pretty and cool ♥)

also they're both a bit lighter here because it's winter, and their coats get fluffier and lighter in the winter and then thin out and darken a tad in the summer :3c
this also means that family and friends tend to have nice grooming sessions where they brush the FUCK outta each other to remove all that loose fur lol
